-SUMMERS POV-
Suprisingly walking into the cafeteria wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
No.
No.
No.
It was much worse.
Let me tell you about my adventure from point A, the classroom I was in, to point B, which is the cafeteria.
So I walked out of class which was a total snooze fest, then I walked to my locker where I found a note with a phone number saying 'call me' which a kissy face. I immediately disposed of that.
Then I put my books away and walked to the cafeteria. As I got closer to the cafeteria the people around me stoped chatting, all eyes were on me. Honestly that part didn't bother me, it was the whispering that gave me shivers.
"Why is everyone whispering about me all the time?" I ask quietly once I sit down. I look around at all the faces giving me sympathetic looks at the table.
"I have no clue but its pissing me off" Kat clenches her teeth.
"I wish I could just knock them all out" Danielle flicks her dirty blonde, with a few pink streaks, and now wavy hair over her shoulder.
"I have cheerleader try outs this afternoon" I groan once the talking starts up a bit again. A school of 800, teenage, boys and girls can only be quiet for so long.
"They're going to hate you even more once they find out you're head cheerleader quality as well, triple threats are never liked" Kat giggles and I smirk.
"Shut up" I push her playfully.
"Wait you're a cheerleader?" A face of disgust forms on Danielle's face.
"Yeah" I nod and pop my straw into my chocolate milk carton.
"But my instincts are always right" She mumbles to herself.
"Huh?" I look to Kat and then back to Danielle.
"You're not musical by any chance are you?" She asks propping her head up with her hands.
"N-" Im cut off.
"She sings like an angel" Kat gushes.
I shoot daggers at Kat. "I don't actu-" Danielle stops me.
"My musical senses are always right, I can tell when someone has a musical talent. Im in this band, its not for school but we practise in school and-" Im not interested in Danielle's super natural powers.
"Woah woah waoh. Don't get ahead of yourself" I giggle cautiously.
"Oh so you're one of those chicks" She rolls her eyes.
"What chick are you stereotyping me as now?" I giggle.
"The one that claims shes good at nothing but then someone hears her singing in the shower and insists she joins their group and then she turns out winning a championship and making a sequel" Danielle rambles on.
"Uh, isn't that pitch perfect" Kat looks at Danielle like shes a weirdo, which she is.
"Maybe" Danielle says and then stuffs a french fry into her mouth and we all chuckle.
---
Soon it becomes four o'clock, cheerleading trials.
Im lead to the locker rooms where around 20 girls change into short shorts and a tank top that we bought from home.
"I never knew the new girl could cheer" some girl whispers rudely to her friend.
"She probably cant, get your phone ready to video her failing" the other girl, i think her names Sophie, giggles and whips her phone out.
