-SUMMERS POV-
When do you know enough is enough? Is it before or after your mum and baby sibling dies or is it when you found out that the person that had been supporting you and you thought loved you turns out to be telling strangers that he doesn't love you?
"Why don't you go on a diet?" The fat black, 11 year old asks Jack Black.
"Because I like food, is that such a crime?!" Mr Sneevely, or Doey, or Jack Black replies. I'm trying to boost my mood up, but it's not turning out that great.
I huff a small smile but no happiness returns to my broken heart.
My laptop dings and I check out my Facebook.
'To make up for the crappy video you saw today' Max texts me and I roll my eyes and open the attachment file.
"I knew I loved you from the first time I saw you, I was a jerk at first but every time I eat popcorn I smile and remember the time I said that the Danforth's have beautiful cousins because you were getting popcorn while I told you my douchy pick-up line. My favourite movie is Shark Tales and you've got me hooked on Pods, cookies and cream is my favourite" I giggle "I love to wear my Jersey because it reminds me of the one you wear...or wore" He holds up my Jersey that I left behind, I cuss under my breath for leaving it up there but a sense of relief washed me because he had it "and most of all" the video ends and I get another notification.
'Look out to your balcony' it says and I get so confused but I do it anyways.
"And most of all...I love you" He sighs and takes my hand. "I promise I didn't say any of those things" Max stares in my eyes probably hoping I'll believe him, but I just can't.
"How do I know that for sure? You hurt me really badly and I just can't risk that again" I pull my hand out of his.
"You just need to trust me" Max takes a step forward but I take a step back.
"Can we talk about this later?" I ask, sympathy lining my eyes. I don't like to do this to him but I just need a break from everything.
"But I can fix it this time" Max pleads and I shake my head.
"There's no potion or remedy for a broken heart" I say, a tear falling down my cheek.
"But-"
"Bye Max" I kiss his cheek and walk back inside, shutting and locking the doors, then pulling the blinds closed.
"I love you" I hear him whisper, branches shake and a car pulls away.
"I love you too" I sigh and sit on my bed.
-MAXS POV-
I've got an idea.
I pull my laptop out and record a message:

It didn't make much sense but we could just roll with it "My favourite movie is Shark Tales and you've got me hooked on Pods, cookies and cream is my favourite. I love to wear my Jersey because it reminds me of the one you wear...or wore" I hold up the Jersey I retrieved from the roof garden "and most of all" I end the video. I'm going to send it once I'm at her balcony and then I'm going to send it to her on Facebook and then text her to go to her balcony and tell her I love her in person.
Should I sing Shark Tales? Better not...

I hear the balcony door click open and Summer stands there in the same thing she was wearing today.
"And most of all...I love you" I sigh and take her hand, it gives me a feel of comfort. "I promise I didn't say any of those things" I stare deeply into her eyes hoping that my head that screaming 'believe me! Believe me!' Gets to her.
"How do I know that for sure? You hurt me really badly and I just can't risk that again" my heart sinks and I feel useless, my eyes drop and she pulls her hand away from mine.
"You just need to trust me" I step forward lifting my head again. She needs to believe me, I love her too much to just let her go this easily.
"Can we talk about this later?" Summer asks and I sigh, I want to fix this, I want to help her!
"But I can fix it this time" I assure her but she shakes her head.
"There's no potion or remedy for a broken heart" A tear falls down Summers cheek and my heart breaks, but I know I can fix her, I did it once!
"But-" I can do it! I promise! Please just let me help.
"Bye Max" She kisses my cheek and walks back inside, shutting and locking the doors, then pulling the blinds closed.
"I love you" I whisper, a tear rolling down my cheek. I climb down the tree and walk to my car. "I wasn't even the one that broke her heart, but if her hearts broken so is mine. I drive off and take myself wherever my hands take me.
I end up at school. Weird. I sit in my car, cussing and kicking and hitting anything in reach. I look at the pole that I'm parked in front of and its Prom, next week? Since when!
I have a plan!
