Chapter 2: Hero in Residence(part 2)

The group made their way through the crowd. They had just arrived at Champion City, and so far the visit was oddly enough, a boring visit for the siblings, mainly Nikki and Jesse who found the place overly elaborate and uninteresting.

"Come on, you...", Petra muttered as she tried to get the Llama to go through the crowd with them. Stella turned and noticed as motioned her bodyguards to follow her as they stepped down the small platform they was on.

"Ohhh, Lluna, my darling! You came home! You came back!", the blonde rejoiced with a sickly sweet smile before she turned to her bodyguard. "Ah, Rodrigo? Could you bring Lluna home please?"

The Llama sadly looked at the friends before she was brought away from by the Bodyguard. She looked at them as she went, and her sadden gaze made Jess feel extremely bad for the Llama, but she didn't paid much attention to it as she knew she had bigger things to worry about.

"There's a good girl...", Stella muttered as she watched the two disappear in the crowd.

"Stella", Jesse said, catching the blonde's attention.

"Oh, look who it is! Jesse! Leaders of BeaconTown, my sworn rival with his... assistants..", she looked at Jess and Nikki, who both gave her nasty glares.

"We've never met her right?", Jesse pondered as he looked at Petra, who facepalmed and shook her head in embarrassment as she muttered, "no..."

"Our Rivalry? BeaconTown vs Championship City?", Stella went on. "Surely you think about it as much as I do"

"I'm sorry but you? Are not my rival", Jesse corrected. "Even my B-list villains are way scarier than you, heck, even my D-list villains beat you any day!"

"I don't know what kind of mind games you are trying to bring into our rivalry, but I'll tell you right now they are not going to work on me!", the blonde hissed.

"Sorry blondie but, you aren't and will never be out rivals so don't try and we'll all be happy campers, okay?", Nikki said, rolling her hands as she placed a hand on her hips. Just as she did, Jesse's and Jess' gauntlets started to glow as the two of them heard their names being whispered lowly.

"I love the glove by the way. Absolutely darling", Stella grinned before she turned to her bodyguard and both nodded before they looked back at them. "You wouldn't be interested in trading, would you? Got some fine puppies here, all free range of course!"

"Just a puppy for this?! That's a terrible trade!", Jess retorted.

"Rude. I just thought I'll offer", the blonde replied, motioning the bodyguard to get rid of the puppy. "I heard you need a new pet, something to upgrade from that squawky little bat"

The bodyguard did as he was told, throwing the poor pup away behind him, with someone catching him in their arms. As he did so, Nikki furrowed her brow in anger for how she spoke of Zephyr. He is her best friend, and she's not gonna let her trash talk her friend like that.

"Okay, hold it!", Petra growled as she finally spoke.

"Oh, Petra! You're here too? I almost thought Lluna just came back on her own!", Stella mocked. "What do I owe you..? A puppy?"

"No! That wasn't-.", Petra sighed but was interrupted again by the blonde.

"A Diamond maybe?"

"No! I-."

"An emerald? Don't push it TOO far now!"

"Don't make me get tough, Stella, you KNOW what we want", Jesse calmly said, trying to keep his own anger and annoyance down. "We're not leaving without that sword!"
