Chapter 9: Jailblock(part 3)

The group was out numbered by the prisoners surrounding around them. The group went into their attack stances, ready to defend themselves from what awaits them.

"If you want to fight.. let's fight..", Nikki spoke up, not even bothering to take out her sword in her defense. She of course felt betrayed, but she wasn't going to let it stop her from getting herself and her siblings out of this crazy place.

"I've been waiting for this, Nikki. It's sad you and your little big brother and sister wouldn't see the light of day. Don't worry, I'll remember to tell you, in the afterlife of course.", she snickered before racing at her to throw the first hit.

Nikki dodged the hit instantly. Maddie growled, holding up her chainsaw, this time trying to find a way to kill her. The prisoners started attacking, but before some could aid their leader, she yelled, "GO! She's mine!"

She then turned to face her, her eyes narrowed. "Oh Nikki, Nikki, Nikki. Remember what I said when we first met? Suicide's the coward's way out."

"I'd rather commit suicide than lose to a fool like you!", Nikki spat back, holding up her fists. "Come at me!"

Maddie gladly did so, racing at her to slice her to pieces, however Nikki jumped into the air, landing on her feet. As quick as a mouse, she kicked her in the face, making her fall onto the ground. The chainsaw landed next to her.

Maddie started whipping blood from her mouth before she stood up for a second time. "You little bitch!", she snarled, picking up her weapon for the second time.

"You really can't beat me without weapons, can you?", Nikki taunted. "I beat you once and I'll do it again!"

Maddie grind her teeth in anger and frustration, dropping her weapon to the ground and tackling her foe to the ground. Nikki covered quickly and kicked her in the stomach. Maddie got up quickly, grabbed her and threw her against the wall. Thinking she had the upper hand, she threw a punch at her jaw before kicking her in the stomach.

Nikki collapsed onto the ground, but quickly recovered as she got up quickly.

The battle was tense, even for those who were simply watching. Both ladies were wounded, but they kept on going. Maddie realized how Nikki was difficult to beat, no matter how many punches she threw at her, she kept getting back up.

"Just fuckin DIE ALREADY!!", she shouted.

Nikki only stood in place, not at all being fazed by the threat. "You're not the only one who wished death upon me..", she muttered before her eyes started glowing in the same sea-green aura. Instead, this time it was in a slightly darker shade. She peered up at where the maze was, and suddenly the sounds of rocks breaking were heard.

She wasn't finished with her battle however and when Maddie tried to tackle her again, she punched her hard in the face, sending her onto the ground. She hit her a second time, this time in the other side of her face. NIKK turned away from her, aimed her left arm, and then struck out hard, hitting the soft area between Maddie's neck and shoulder. This attack didn't knock her unconscious, but it did temporarily paralyze her. Now there was no way she'd be getting up any time soon.

"C'mon, we have to go!!", Nikki quickly shouted. Her siblings and the rest of her friends listened immediately.

"Follow me!", Xara urged them. They finally ran inside the maze. To stop any of them from following, Nikki finished what she was doing, letting the obsidian rocks tremble into the entrance, blocking their way. She felt bad they wouldn't have a chance to escape, but they wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. That's all that mattered.

"NOOOO!!", Maddie shouted as they watched the entrance being blocked before their eyes. She tried to get up, but failed. She then covered her face, crying for the first time in a long time. She had tried to escape, but instead just denied herself the ability to. Now they were stuck, in this place. Forever...
