Blood Rose - Hyunlix

6 - Who are you?

- Felix's POV - 

"I saw him collapse, please hyung you must do something!" I whined, begging for Chan to help him.

- "Felix, just because I'm studying to be a doctor doesn't mean I know everything in the medical world. Why can't you just bring him into a hospital?" Chan asked.

- "I just can't, he can't go it's not safe for him there. They'll ask what happened and I don't want to get into any drama." I said, quietly while looking down.

- "Yet he's safe while being wrapped in thick blankets?" Chan question, walking towards the light switch.

- "DON'T TOUCH THE LIGHT SWITCH." Changbin yelled, before Chan did anything.

 - "It's too dark! Will on of you tell me the reason why you dragged me down to Felix's dorm at 3AM in the morning." Chan said, as he walked to the couch to lie down.

-"Fine, fine, Felix you tell him." Changbin said, as he sat on a chair.

- "Okay, around midnight I heard this loud thud outside my dorm. I got out of bed to check it out, that's when I saw Hyunjin laying motionlessly on the floor. I picked him up and placed him on his bed. He was mumbling words to me that didn't make sense , but I was able to get a hint from what he was saying. He said that he wanted me to go to the city's oldest library to get a book that would help him. So I went to go to the library and all of a sudden Changbin hyung comes out of nowhere. He gave me a red rose that was from Hyunjin and helped me find the book. Once we found the book we went back home to give it to Hyunjin, but when we gave it to him he started mumbling words and all of a sudden he passed out. That's when we called you to come over." I explained, not taking my eyes off of Hyunjin.

It stayed silent for a while. Although it was too dark to see, it looked as if Chan turned pale.

- "Hyung, even though it's really dark in here you look really pale." Changbin said. 

So it wasn't just me. 

- "Hand me the book." Chan said, breathlessly. 

- "What?" I asked, confused as ever.

- "Hand me the book." He commanded, looking desperate.

Changbin reached for the book and handed it to Chan. Chan turned on his phone's flashlight and read skimmed over the book. 

- "Oh no, no. This is bad." Chan said, mumbling.

- "What's bad?" I asked.

- "You guys just revived a monster.....I thought it was just a story....that it wasn't real......that's why he looked so familiar....." Chan said, breathlessly as his grip onto the arm rest hardened.

- "Monster? Chan, Hyunjin is too gentle and kind and good looking to be a monster." I argued.

Oh shoot. Did I just say that, out loud???

- "NICE, GENTLE, AND HANDSOME OR NOT BUT YOU JUST HELPED REVIVE A VAMPIRE. FELIX, DON'T YOU SEE?! THE REASON WHY HE'S SO FAMILIAR IS BECAUSE HE'S THE PRINCE THAT GOT TURNED INTO A VAMPIRE YEARS AGO. THE ONE WHO TARGETED RANDOM PEOPLE FOR FOOD. THE ONE WHO CREATED HIS OWN EMPIRE. THE ONE WHO MANIPULATES OTHER PEOPLE TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. YOU FELL IN A TRAP." Chan screamed, sweating with fear.

I trembled. Hyunjin couldn't be that vampire from the story. The story is fake. 

- "He can't be, the story is fake hyung!" Changbin said, shaking some sense into Chan.

I ran to my room to get my phone and search the story up. If what Chan said was true, then I did fall in a trap. But if what he said was just a coincidence then everything was okay. I nervously read the story and looked at the sketch of the prince. He looked exactly like Hyunjin and it couldn't be a portrait of him because the story and painting was created when the kingdoms were still active. That meant..........

- "Hyung." I said, quietly.

Both Chan and Changbin looked at me.

- "Chan hyung was right....Hyunjin is the vampire. It's not a coincidence...." I said, breathlessly. 

- "We have to get out, now!" Chan said, screaming at me.

I couldn't leave, Hyunjin couldn't be a monster. He was.....perfect. Wet drops stung my eyes as they fell down my cheeks.

- "Felix, we're not safe here." Changbin said, softly.

- "Hyung, we can't leave him...." I said, as I looked at Hyunjin twitching body. 

I  know there's good in him. There has to be.

- "Felix, we need to leave him. You fell for the trap, getting out of it is the hard part but I have faith in you." Chan said, softly looking at me in the eye.

I nodded and slowly went to the door. This was my last time with him.
