"Hey Buck, you don't leave till tomorrow morning why don't you pack later?" I ask. Bucky gives me a look. "Fine."

I get up off of his bed. "I'll be back," I say. "Okay," Bucky chuckles. I go upstairs, "Good morning Winnifred. "Oh good morning honey, how did you sleep?" She questions. "Oh I slept well," I decided I shouldn't bring up the letter from six years ago that held Bucky's confession for his love for me in it. "Do you need me to help you with getting Rebecca any-" before I could say the next part she says, "Maria, I appreciate your help but what I want you to do is go out tonight, take Bucky dancing." She implies.

"Wouldn't that be a date Mrs.Winnifred?" I ask waiting for an answer. "Only if you want it to be." She winks at me. I make eye contact with her as I walk out of the room back into Bucky's. "Hey um James," I stutter. "Yes Maria?" He says. "Um would you I don't know like wanna go out dancing later?" I say really fast. "Dancing? Go out? Wouldn't that make it a date?" He asks. "No, it would just make it two friends who wanted to go out dancing together." You know the more I talked about it not being a date made it sound like a date.

"You know what, sure why not! Sounds like fun!" He says cheerfully with a smile on his face. "Sounds great I'll see you around 5:00p.m. sharp!" I exclaim grabbing my hat and gloves heading out the front door. "Maria!" He shouts as I walk down the icy driveway. "I'll pick you up tonight!" Bucky yells with a smile on his face. "See you soon Sargent!" We both salute each other from a distance.

It's not a date Maria. I get out of the shower and put my robe on. I could feel the warmth of the robe on my skin. I grab my blush and simply brush it among my cheekbones. I look up at the clock, "Oh my goodness it's already 4:45 p.m.!" I quickly put on my mascara and neutral pink colored lipstick. I throw on my tights and dress.

I put my black heels on. I grab my coat and gloves and walk out the door. I almost forgot! The hat! I run back upstairs to grab my hat almost breaking an ankle. Honk! Honk! I lock my door and right as I'm about to walk up to the passenger side of the car Bucky gets out and runs over to open the door for me. He smiles at my hat, "told you I'll always wear it." I laugh. "Okay let's go." I try to keep something hidden in my pocket of my coat.

The drive was kind of silent, the whole ride I could feel tension between us. Every time we made eye contact we smiled. "Oh yay we're here!" I exclaim.
