While Hannah was walking to school, her thoughts lingered about what Jack just did. He confessed his feelings for her but that was through her cousin, Shaun. Shaun was Jack's best friend and he told him about how he felt towards Hannah and Shaun broke it out to their family. The reason why Hannah's family knew about it too, and became the talk everytime there is a family and friends gathering.
Jack was a likable boy. And Hannah seemed to like him too. The thing is, Jack didn't talk to Hannah personally about it. He just showed his feelings by his actions. Hannah wasn't sure if she would accept his love once he confessed to her personally, but she didn't want to break their friendship. Everytime they hang out together with friends, Jack and Hannah felt uneasy as if something was going on between them but they just wanted to ignore and just play it safe.
Jack was very kind and caring towards Hannah but he didn't follow up about his confession. Hannah was confused whether he really liked her or not. But by the way he looked at her and treated her nicely, Hannah could feel she has a special place in his heart.
While walking back from school, Jack rushed from her back. "Hop on, I'll drop you off." Jack told Hannah. Hannah was hesitant but can't say no. "Oh, okay."
Home was just about 3 minutes drive from school. It was obvious that Jack went home already as he wasn't allowed to bring his bike to school. He changed his school uniforms and hurried back to school to catch Hannah.
"Thank you Jack, you don't really have to do this." Hannah told him politely. "No, I don't mind. Stay safe, bye."
Jack sped up before Hannah could say anything.
