When Our Love Blooms

After Fifteen Long Years

Hannah came back to her hometown after battling with marital difficulties. She married a jobless bastard who just used her for financial reasons during their entire marriage. She has to endure all his lies until she found out his husband has another family. Hannah was devastated and couldn't get out of it because they're legally married plus they had a precious daughter and she has to raise her well.

Now that she successfully divorced her husband, and her daughter is old enough to understand everything that's going on in the family, she went home for a break. She wanted to give herself a grand vacation while her daughter was already in her 6th grade in a boarding school in South Korea.

She stayed in the same city where she studied university. This was about an hour away from where her parents live.

She was drinking in a bar when she saw a familiar face two tables away from where she was sitting. She recognized him right away. It was Jack. He was drinking with some friends or maybe colleagues. She immediately sneaked out of the place right when Jack saw her moving away.

Jack cleared his eyes and looked again. He was sure he knew this woman. He has a strong feeling he knew her so he followed her on the way out but she was too quick to disappear. So Jack went back to where his friends were.

Hannah was able to quickly turn into a small alley and hid herself from him because she had a strong feeling he was following her. After a few minutes, she quickly left the building.

When she reached her flat, tears suddenly fell from her eyes. She unconsciouly felt a hard hit on her chest it made her difficult to breath. Everything that happened 15 years ago all came back to her memories. All her longing and emptiness for him suddenly reappeared. What is going on with her.

Jack was handsome as ever. Now that he was a fullgrown man, he became more and more attractive. He might have lived a happy life. Hannah thought.

Jack, on the other hand, was feeling uneasy. He couldn't be mistaken it was really her. It was Hannah he saw earlier in the bar. Was she back for good? But I never heard anyone from our family and friends mention about her coming home. Where was she staying? With her parents? Ahhh, maybe it wasn't her.

Jack married a mischievious woman and their marriage was currently a roller-coaster. Reason why he always hangout with his colleagues after work. He was now stationed in that city as the commander of army. His own family was living in their house he built in their hometown - his wife and daughter who's studying in grade 7. Jack's wife doesn't work. She stayed home as a housewife all their married life. All she does was spend her husband's money for shopping and treating her friends to dinner and drinks. Jack has no appetite of coming home on weekends as he wanted to avoid his wife and the possible war between them everytime he comes home. He only goes home when there's a really important event to attend or if he's needed there physically.

Jack was riding his bike one evening on his way to where he's staying. It's the same condo where Hannah was staying when she was in the university. Jack purposely rented this condo because of Hannah's memory with him. It was where Hannah lived when both of them were happy in their past relationship.

While driving near the bus stop, he saw this same familiar woman who was taking her steps to climb up the bus then disappeared from his sight. He followed the bus wanting to check who went down on every bus stop but failed to see her.

He was again bothered that night. Puzzled if it was Hannah or just someone who's looking similar. What was she doing here if it was her? I must find out as soon as possible. What if she's only here for a short vacation. What if she's going back to South Korea again? I should meet her soon. Where could she be staying? I'll make sure we could at least talk before she leaves. At least clear everything out.

Jack could not deny he was still longing for Hannah this whole time. She's his one and only love from childhood. Now that he keeps on seeing this lady, everything in their past has resurfaced. The love, longing, emptiness. Those feelings he could never put aside when it comes to Hannah.

His family has been angry at him because of what happened between them. It was all his fault he lost Hannah in an unexpected predicament. His family blamed him for causing enmity between them and Hannah's family. But that was in the past. Now both families already have gained back their friendship.

But Hannah hasn't come home since she left. She must have been so devastated for what happened to their love. She hasn't talked to any of Jack's family members up until this time. Though she didn't hold any ill feelings against them, she thought it wouldn't be same anymore. She's not sure about that. Not now.

Hannah devoted her time to volunteer in a childcare center which was situated in the city outskirts. She was preparing for a huge event that's going to happen on the weekend. It was her sponsored event and many officials from the city government were invited to grace the event.

She donated a beautiful playground and sleeping materials for the kids. These and another external sponsorship will highlight the ribbon cutting ceromony on Sunday. She's very happy and excited for this accomplishment she had long dreamed for. Her passion was to make the kids happy and enjoy their childhood.
