Little Foot was sobbing and travelling around until he slipped down a steep ledge and landed on a different Dinosaur's back.

"Hey." The old Dinosaur spoke as when he moved Little Foot jumped off and sobbed into the ground. "What's your problem? Your not hurt." He asked the crying youngling.

"It's not fair!" Little Foot cried. "She should've known better. With that Sharp Tooth. It's all her fault."

"All whos fault?"

"Mother."

"Oh..." The old Dinosaur looked away, knowing what had happened. "I see. I see."

"Why did I wonder soo far from home?" He continued crying.

"Oh, it's not your fault. Not your Mother's fault. Now, you pay attention to old Rooter." That was his name. Rooter. "It is nobodys fault. The great circle of life has began. But you see, not all of us arrive together at the end."

"What will I do? I miss her soo much."

"You'll always miss her, but she'll always be with you as long you remember the things she taught you." Rooter then continued. "In a way, you'll never be apart, but you're still part of each other."

"My tummy hurts."

"Well, that to will go in time, little fella. Only in time." Rooter then began to walk off.

(Y/N) walked around the cliff edges and tried to find away across, but she couldn't. She was afriad. She wanted her family.

"Where is everyone..." She mummbled to herself until she saw Little Foot and Cera talking in the distance. "Them two again?" She ran over to them. "Hi!"

"Oh, hi!" Little Foot smiled at her. "I didn't quite get your name. What was it?"

"My name? Oh. It's (Y/N)."

"Mine is Little Foot."

"And I'm Cera!" Cera spoke with pride as she jumped down onto a small ledge.

"Wait! I'm going to The Great Valley. We could... uh..." He was cut off by Cera's screams. She slipped, but managed to stay on the flat surface. "We could help each other!"

"Hmph, Three Horns don't need help from Long Necks!" Cera huffed and began to walk around, but ended up slipping again, but this time sliding to the bottom of the canyon.

"Well, at least you wouldn't be alone!"

"Well, when I find my sisters, I won't be alone, so go away!" Cera then began to walk into the dark tunnel.

"Three Horns are soo stubborn." (Y/N) giggled as Little Foot sighed and began to walk away with his tree star. "Huh? Wait!" She ran to the Long Neck. "Where's your Mother? I need to thank her for saving my life."

"She's... gone." He closed his eyes, holding back tears.

"Oh no. I'm sorry." She nuzzled Little Foot. "I lost my parents too during the Earth Shake."

"Aren't Thicknoses stubborn to?"

"That's what they all say, but I will never find my Grandpa by myself. I heard that you know the way to the Great Valley. You seem like a nice guy."

---

Little Foot layed over the edge of a rock, still heartbroken. He watched (Y/N) drink as a small Dinosaur jumped out in front of Little Foot.

"Hello." She smiled a little. "I said "hello"! What is your name?" Little Foot tilted his head to the side and sighed. She gasped. "Maybe you cannot talk yet, huh? Huh?"
