Chapter 6

(A/N): I made an edit to last chapter that Sakyo will now be a red Tyrannosaurus Rex and no longer a Carnotaurus.

The seven made it to the Sinking Sand and Sheltering Grass as they saw how bubbly the sand was. Ducky dipped her foot in, but it was soo thick and gooey.

"Eww... I cannot swim in this. Oh, no. No, no, no." She shook her head.

"Petrie fly across!" He flew up and smiled.

"Petrie, we no have wings. No, no, no, we cannot fly." Ducky giggled as Petrie frowned and sat on top of Sakyo's head, holding on the hard part above his eyes.

"My Dad just jumps from rock to rock." Cera told them.

"Yeah, but your Dad's got longer legs than us." Little Foot tried to extend his short leg.

"Big deal! I could do it to! Watch!" Cera took a few steps back, ran, and then jumped onto the rock, her back legs getting caught in the sand, as she pulled them out. "See?" She smiled proudly, but slipped and fell in fully. "Woah!" She gasped and then screamed trying to get out.

"Cera! Hang on!" Little Foot yelled as Ducky jumped onto the rock and grabbed her horn, but Ducky fell and held on to her horn for dear life.

"Help!" They both yelled.

"Hang on!" Little Foot grabbed Ducky's tail and began to pull, but his front legs slipped in. (Y/N) jumped over and began to pull on Little Foot's tail. Spike then helped to, then Petrie did.

Sakyo watched in horror as he looked at his short arms and took in a deep breath and jumped to a different rock nearby and helped Petrie pull back Spike, but the Spike Tail gasped from the sudden grip of the short arms that were trying to help. That was when they all fell in and screamed for help loudly and constantly.

"Cera?" Mr. Threehorn looked up from pulling up some grass to eat.

"Petrie!" His Mother covered one of her eggs.

"Ducky! Spike!" Their Mother gasped and began to quickly get out of the water.

"Little Foot!" Grandpa and Grandma Long Neck gasped and also headed towards the Sheltering Grass.

"(Y/N)! Sakyo!" Mr. Thicknose began to run to help his Grandaughter and Grandson in law.

They all sunk down into the sinking sand, but were all rescued by Grandpa Long Neck's tail.

"We made it!" Little Foot told them after they all finished coughing. They all then looked up at the angry parents. "Uh-oh..."

"What were you two were doing out by the Sheltering Grass?" Mr Thicknose asked in the small cave they live in.

"G-Grandpa, I'm sorry... W-We just wanted to play." (Y/N) looked ashamed as Sakyo whimpered and his head hung low ashamed.

"I'm very disappointed in you two. I didn't think you would go to such a dangerous place knowing what could've happened." He then walked to the side of the cave and curled up to sleep.

(Y/N) and Sakyo sighed and curled up on the large pile of leaves and grass they collected to be comfy.

Later that night, (Y/N) was hit on the head by a small rock.

"Psst, (Y/N), Sakyo." Another rock hit her head and bounced onto Sakyo's ans he groaned and opened his eyes. "Guys, wake up." They heard a whisper from outside of the cave, so they walked out to see Cera, Little Foot, Petrie, Ducky and Spike.
