Chapter 11: Awkward...

Third Person POV

The moment Riley begin the work Dylan gave her, he keeps staring at her. Good thing she's not looking at him. Riley is sitting down at the rectangular table piling up the papers while Dylan is doing some research in his desk a few feet away from her.

Dylan keeps looking at the side to look at Riley and he can't help but smile see her so serious. After looking at her for more than a minute he finally turns he's focus back to his research. After a few minutes...

"Finally done" Dylan said stretching... He closes his laptop after saving his file, stands up and walked towards Riley. "I'm done with my research, give me some of those" he said to Riley. Riley looks up to him.

"Here." Riley giving half of the papers to Dylan.

Dylan sat down in front of her and begins piling them. They didn't talk nothing but a silence aura from both of them. Dylan tried looking at her the moment he raises his head to look at Riley, Riley is looking at him now their staring at each other their eyes met. For a few second of staring Riley looked away blushing when she realizes they we're staring at each other.

Dylan clears his throat and Riley is blushing... AWKWARD!!

"Why was he staring at me?" Riley said to herself I her mind.

"She was looking at me and our eyes met" Dylan said in his head which made him smile a little.

"That was so awkward" Riley said in her mind again.

Dylan sighed and Riley slowly turns her head to look at him. Dylan is looking at her again, she just smiled awkwardly and begin piling up the papers again. Dylan just smiles at her and begin his work too.

 Hours have past, after piling the papers Riley helps Dylan clean up the council office.

"All done, let's go home?"Dylan asks Riley.

Riley just nod. They grab their bag and walk out Dylan locks the door and they walk to the parking lot. Riley scooter is park next to Dylan's car. They walk towards their vehicle

"Thanks for helping me today" Dylan said to Riley while opening his car door.

No answer, he turns around and saw Riley staring at the sky again. He smirks and walks towards her.

"Wishing again?" He asks.

"Nope, just gazing" She answered while smiling at the sky.

"May I join you?" He asks.

Riley looks at him and her smile widens. "Sure" her answer.

They both looked at the sky and didn't mind the time. Dylan looks at her multiple times but Riley's focus is towards the sky. Moment of silence.... Until...

"Dylan?" Riley broke the silence.

"Hmmm" Dylan.

"If I make wish right now will you make it come true?" Riley asks him.

Dylan looks at her seriously. "What?"

Riley looks at him seriously. "I said if I make a wish right now will you make it come true?" she asks again.

"That depends of what kind of wish is that" Dylan answered and looks at the sky again.

Riley sighed."Do you want to hear the wish?" She looks at the sky again too.

Dylan didn't answer but instead he looks at her. Riley slowly looks at him.

"Do you?" She asks.
