Chapter 28: Plan & Pain

Third Person's POV

Tonight the college of business is having a welcome party and everyone is excited especially Kira because she thought she can do her plan on that moment.

"Wife, I'll pick you later at 7" Dylan said

"Okay Hub" Riley said and kiss his cheek.

"Emma I'll pick you up too" Austin.

"Okay, thanks" Emma smiling at him.

"I'll just see you guys there" Max.

"Going solo Max?" Riley asks.

"Of course not. I'll be bringing my girlfriend" Max answered.

"You have a girlfriend?" Both Riley and Emma asks in complete shock.

"Yup, but she has a different course" Max said.

"Since when?" Riley asks.

"A week ago" Max.

"A week ago and you didn't tell us?" Emma.

"You never asks." Max said smiling.

"You-" Riley stop talking when Dylan covered her mouth.

"Wife calm down, So Max got a girlfriend big deal. So just chill" Dylan said and Riley nob.

He slowly removes his hand on her mouth and kiss her.

"Hub" Riley hit his shoulder.

"What? It's just a kiss" Dylan said defensively.

"Still, don't do that when we're in the classroom" Riley complained.

"Okay, sorry" Dylan apologize.

Riley smiled.

"So we'll see each other tonight?" Riley asks them.

They all nob.

"My plan will work, I know it will" Kira whispered to herself.

~Night Of The Dance...~

"Oh my god! Riley you look amazing" Emma praising Riley's yellow sleeveless cocktail dress.

"Same to you Emma" Riley said and looks at her Emma is wearing a blue tube cocktail dress.

"Ehem"

They look at the guy who cough and saw Max with someone.

"Guys, I would like you to meet Maia my girlfriend" Max introduce her to his friends.

"Nice meeting you" Maia said smiling at them.

They greeted each other and enjoy the party.

While their sitting Dylan suddenly stand up and walk out.

"This is my chance" Kira said and stand up. She followed Dylan and waited for him outside the bathroom.

She texted Riley that Dylan wants to see her by the bathroom. Well she got her number from their classmate.

When Dylan went out Kira grab his arm.

"Kira? What the hell are you doing?"Dylan said looking at her pissed.

"I want to talk and apologize for what I did, for leaving you. I'm really sorry Dylan, please forgive me and come back to me" Kira said like she's begging.

"Stop this stupid act Kira, I don't love you anymore and I will never again" Dylan said and was about to walk away until Kira saw Riley walking towards them.

Kira grab Dylan's shoulder and pulled him close to her and kiss him.

"Dyl-" Riley suddenly covered her mouth and tears started to fall from her eyes. She saw them kissing.

Dylan broke the kiss and shouted "What the fuck did you do" and wipe his lips.

Dylan notice Kira is looking behind him, he slowly turns his head and was in complete shock to see Riley crying.

"Ri-Riley" Dylan said and walk towards her but she moved back.

"D-Don't c-come near me" Riley said still crying.

"Wife it's not what you think" Dylan moved closer.

"Not what I think? I saw you two k-kissing and you tell me it's not what I think, I'm not blind Dylan" Riley said and more tears started to fall.

"Wife please listen to me" Dylan begging holding her shoulder.

"Don't call me wife" Riley said coldly and removes Dylan's hand then wipe her tears. She turns around and walks away.

But Dylan chases her and hug her from behind. "Wife, don't do this"

"Let me go Dylan" Riley said trying to break from Dylan's hug but he hugs her tighter.

"No,I won't... I will never let you go" Dylan said.

Riley felt something in her shoulder. Dylan's crying!

"Dylan please let me go" Riley said again.

Dylan slowly breaks the hug but instead of letting her go he turns her around to face him. Riley saw Dylan crying for the second time and she felt hurt because she knew she's the cause of it.

"Please don't leave me" Dylan looking at her eyes but his tears are still dropping.

Riley slowly holds his face and wipe the tears "I will not leave you, I just need time to think about this"

"Think about what?" Dylan asks.

"About what I just saw" Riley answered and looks at Kira behind Dylan. She's smiling and she knows that she likes what she's seeing right now.

"What you saw just now was nothing, It didn't mean anything" Dylan explain.

"Whether it means something or not, I still want to be alone right now" Riley said to him.

"What are you trying to say Riley?" Dylan asks.

"I think..... We need to cool off for a bit." Riley said.

Dylan suddenly hugs her. "No! I will not agree to that"

"Dylan please. Can you give me this one favor?" Riley asks like she's begging.

Their hug lasts for minutes until Riley heard Dylan sighed.

"If that's what you want then.... Fine!" Dylan said coldly and breaks the hug."I'll give you time to think and let this cooling off happen but I'm telling you..." He holds Riley I her shoulders "This is the most painful thing I will do"

"Dylan, I'm not breaking up with you" Riley said holding his face.

"It's still the same Riley... If you want this fine, I will try to ignore you for a few days until your done thinking about whatever." Dylan said while letting go of her shoulder.

"Dylan"

"It's hurts but I will endure the pain" he said and walk away.

Leaving Riley standing.  They both never felt this so much pain before it's new to them but they will endure it because that's how strong they are.
