Chapter 40: Following

Riley's POV

This is such a happy day Dylan just asks me on a date after school later and I'm super excited... I know that we've been on dates a couple of times but every date feels like the first.

I'm currently waiting for Dylan outside from my house, while texting.

Beep...Beep...

I heard his car and when I turn around I saw him. He stops his car infront of me and went out.

"Morning wife, Sorry I took so long" He said while walking towards me.

He gave me a peck on my lips and took my books.

"It's okay, I haven't been waiting that long" I said.

We walk towards his car he opens the door for me and he runs to his side.

"Let's go?" He ask.

I nod and he starts the car and drove to school. While we're on the road.

"Who are you texting?" He asks.

I look at him and I saw him looking at me and back to the road.

"I'm texting Emma" I answered.

"What are you texting about?" He asks again.

"She's asking if she can sleep over for the weekend since her parents are going out of town" I said.

"I see" He said.

When we arrive at school he quickly park his and went out. He opens the door for me like always and we walk to our classroom hand in hand.

At the classroom

"Hey guys" I greeted them and sat down.

"Riley thank you so much for letting me stay at your place for the weekend" Emma said smiling

"Why are you staying at her house baby?" Austin asks Emma.

Awwww! They call each other baby, so cute.

"Oops." Emma looks at me worried and looks at Austin again. "Sorry, I forgot to tell you that my parents are going out of town this weekend so I'm staying at her house. I'm really sorry I didn't tell you I just forgot" she holds Austin's hand

"It's okay, don't worry about" Austin said and he kiss emma's forehead.

"I have an idea, party at my house on the weekend?" I ask them.

"I'm in, Party" Max said.

"Us too" Emma said.

"Great"

Our prof. went in and class started.

Kira's POV

My plan is all set I'll do it on their date later.

Class is finally over and I'm currently following Riley and Dylan. Their walking towards the parking lot and obviously I walk towards my car and follow them.

There heading to the mall, I park my car a few meters away from his car. Their walking holding hands and it makes me really jealous.

Minutes have pass and I'm still following them until we reach the back at the mall where you see the sunset I'm hiding behind a chair until someone holds my arm and when I turn around.

"Tyler?"

I look at him.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"Kira stop this, stop this plan of yours" He said.

"Let go of me" I tried to remove my arm from his grip but I can't.

"Kira please stop this" Tyler beg me.

I look at him for a second.

"Let me go" I pull my arm away from him." You can't stop me from taking what's mine, why can't you just leave me alone and just let me do what I want?"

"What your doing is wrong, can't you see your hurting yourself with this plan of yours. Do you ever think about what might Dylan feel?" He said looking at me.

"You don't even know what my plan is" I said.

"I know, you're planning on kissing Dylan infront of Riley" He said.

"How did you know that?" I asks him.

"I overheard you, didn't you learn your lesson when you did that before?" He asks.

It's true I kiss Dylan before and Riley saw us but they still made up.

"I don't care If I fail, I will do everything to break them up" I said.

"Kira" He holds my hand.

"Stay away from and leave me alone" I said and walk out.

But before I leave he holds my hand pull me towards him and kisses me. I'm just standing there in shock until he moves his lips away from mine.

"Kira why can't you just move on and let your heart love someone else" He said looking at my eyes.

He holds both my cheeks. "Kira I love you"

I just stand there looking at him, I know he's serious but moving on is not easy it's never easy. I hold both his hands and remove them from my cheeks.

"I'm sorry Tyler but I can't. I love Dylan and that will never change" I said and walk away.

I walk towards the parking lot and that I realize it's already dark. I went in and took a deep breath.

Images of Dylan and Riley while I'm watching them today keep replying in my head. Dylan's smile the smile that I never seen in his face while we're still together. It's different in a good way.

Those I keep hearing. Tyler why are you doing this to me? I started crying and lay my head on the stirring wheel and burst out crying.

Tyler's POV

I'm still standing here looking at the sky there's a lot of stars tonight. I look at Dylan and Riley's direction and they look really happy it's a good thing I stop Kira with her plan.

At school earlier I saw her following them so I followed her until here and when I notice she was about to go towards them I stop her.

I confess many times and got rejected but I still didn't give up because I know that she will come in her senses that what she's doing is wrong. I will never give up on her.

I close my eyes and made a wish, yes I believe in wishing on stars because I witness that it works.

"I wish she will realize what she's doing is wrong and her heart will heal" I slowly open my eyes.

I don't know why I fell inlove with her but still it's just like what they say "Follow your heart" and I'm following mine.
