Azora

We got to my house in record time, we pulled into the driveway-Ash pulled in right behind us.

They helped me out and into my wheelchair, I definitely felt internal rage being stuck in this dumb contraption but I knew deep down I should be happy and grateful that I was alive and would be able to leave this horrible thing soon.

"Azora! I'm so glad you're okay!" I looked up and saw Bella and Aunt Amy just standing there, I jumped in shock when somebody else walked out of our house

"April?" I spoke, the girl gave me her wicked smile.

"Guess who's back from the army!" She chuckled, but I could see her red eyes-she probably found out that both her younger siblings were dead.

April was 20, a few years older than me. She had just turned 8 when I turned 5, her birthday was a month before mine-but we had been close even after I got my powers. She didn't care, but once she graduated, she decided she wanted to join the army-it wasn't long before she was shipped out and fighting all kinds of fights.

"When did you get back!?" I felt my eyes well with tears, she smiled as my mother and my dad helped me up the stairs-I immediately hugged April, god had I missed her so much.

"After I got pulled from the battle field, it was so quick and before I knew it I was on a plane back to headquarters and being told something tragic happened." April said, holding my hand tightly.

"I'm so sorry, April." I whispered, she shook her head.

"Let me tell you I was shocked when I came home and found out my mom had moved. I was more shocked when I found out that my little bro had a girlfriend-now I'm going to be an aunt." She chuckled, but I could see the pain in her eyes.

"It's a lot to take in isn't it?" I said, she shrugged and her eyes darted to the man that I had almost forgotten about.

"Whose this?" She asked, her voice immediately voided of emotion-something she had always been good at around strangers.
