Azora

I woke up to my head pounding, I couldn't find peace in my dreams and the man who helped me control my powers had vanished leaving nightmares to swallow me whole.

Bella and I shared a room, I wasn't against it even after it was altered to fit both our tastes. I found imense comfort in her presence, my aunt had taken the guest bedroom with the bathroom add on and Bella and I shared the add on attached to our room.

I always let her go first, I felt this overwhelming need to protect her. She knew this yet I could see the happiness in her eyes, she knew that i would protect her just like Andrew had done. This time I was protecting two lives that shared one body, just like the magic in my body it was like I could sense the life inside her.

"Azora?" Bella spoke, her worry evident in her creased forehead.

"Yes?" I replied, my voice was low and tired.

"Did you even sleep last night? You've been waking up a lot." She said, I didn't want her to worry yet I couldn't find any lies.

"When I sleep there is always a man, a man who helps me control my magic and teaches me things to help me keep control but he hasn't been there." I told her, spilling out my secret not even my parents knew.

"Like a mentor?" She replied, her eyes twinkling with interest and wonder.

"Yes I guess so, my mind is cluttered so I don't have the relaxation I should." I said rubbing my temples, noticing the crackles of my powers leaving my skin.

"You're not going to explode are you?" She giggled, I knew she didn't fear me but I feared myself.

"No I won't, I don't think I should go to school today Bella." I told her, she smiled and sat on her bed.

"I know, the school gave us till tomorrow I really hope that he comes back to your dreams." Bella replied as she laid down yawning.

"Get some rest I can tell you're just as tired as me." I smiled Bella just nodded, rolling over and holding her belly.

I was standing in a dark room, at first I felt the sweat dripping down my back. It was cold, too cold and I could feel somebody staring at me.

"Help!" I screamed, my voice dry and cracked.

I could see the chains around my arms, I could see the blood dripping from my elbows. I felt scared, I didn't know where I was and the darkness was taunting me like a slow song played in a horror scene.
