I woke to my alarm, I wasn't ready for this. I wasn't ready to go to school and pretend like everything was fine, while people made fun of you just because of who you are.
I got up rubbing my head free from the slight pound, it wasn't anything new after I had those weird dreams. I tried the weird knew trick and was creeped out to find that I could do it, I knew I wasn't able to control my magic like this before.
"You up for school Azora?" My father asked, I winced at his voice.
"Yes Dad, I'm sorry." I said, knowing I was a absolute nightmare last night.
"It's alright babygirl, just give your mom a hug this morning." He said, I heard his retreating footsteps.
"Why am I such a fuck up?" I asked myself, wondering it everyday as I headed to my shower.
