Prom shopping gone wrong

So I'm currently out prom shopping I just came from my fitting for my dress and now we are in the mall getting my accessories and shoes we are getting everything two days and a day before so everything looks perfect but anyways I'm with china,Latrell,duck,syn,my mom,and my stepdad so they can help me find the perfect shoes the whole gang is match but doing our own thing for prom we are all wearing the same color rose gold so I guess we are just going to keep looking until we find some*time jump* we just sat down to eat and we were quiet until my mom said "your bio dad just text me and said he was on his way" the whole gang huffed and groaned "Oh my goodness why" "he said it's his weekend with you and he wants to help with your prom" I just rolled my eyes and said "man whatever he better act like he got some damn since today" you see my bio dad doesn't like Any of my friends or boyfriend he doesn't like Latrell because he is my boyfriend and he know we have sex then he constantly tells me how he doesn't like Latrell tattoo and says he looks like a coloring book which I really don't care he makes me happy my mom and stepdad support it so I mean why not he doesn't like duck because he said duck looks like a thug and has to much for a person from where he is from duck is from the projects but he doesn't live there anymore and the way another grown man gets shit and makes money shouldn't concern you and he doesn't like China because he said she made me "a confused lesbian" me and China are both bisexual and are very touchy feel to each other but again my mom supports me so there for it's not wrong or bad in my eyes I can't wait until I move so this court order can be up he ordered another court date a few months ago and demanded he get the whole weekend with me and the judge was sick of seeing him so she just told him ok but anyways now that y'all know the back story here he comes and he pulled up a chair next to me "hello princess" he calls me by my childhood nickname because he knows I hate it with a passion being of the meanie out behind the name he said "I call you a princess because that's why young ladies are supposed to act like" like a princess is something I'll never be sorry not sorry "hello father" "I see your little girl group is here" I was about to say something but Latrell said "ok baby that's my sign to go me and duck we'll be in the shoe store right there" and he stood up and grabbed my neck and gave me a long wet kiss then walked away my mom and stepdad giggled "that boy needs Jesus you know what is he even a Christian" "yes why" "he can't be it just doesn't add up he so I don't know the devil is in that boy" I just rolled my eyes and tried to change the subject "so what exactly are you paying for because Latrell's parents and duck parents are paying for the decorations and China's mom is paying the rental "those boys parents are going to be there the way they act you wouldn't have thought they had any" "well they do everybody has both parents except for China because her dad passed" "doing what selling drugs" China was still sitting next to me so when he said that China got up and walked away "oh my gosh China" my bio dad looked around like he didn't know what happened see this is why I hate being with him look at what he does "her dad died in the army jackass see this is why people don't wanna be around you" and I got up to go find China the first place I looked was the sneaker store  the boys were in and she wasn't in there and the boys noticed me looking around frantically "what happened what's wrong" duck ask "Richard fucking said something about China's dad death and how he probably was a drug dealer that's why he died and she walked away and I can't find her" they looked angry and taken back but I wasn't worried about all that if I loose my best friend because of his dumb ass ima kill him but anyways we looked around the mall for twenty minutes and I finally remembered I handed China my keys to do something earlier so it was a long shot but we went in the parking lot and found her balled up on the floor of my truck because I put my seats down so she was in my trunk basically "oh my gosh china I'm so sorry I should have never told him about your dad I wasn't think and I was just trying to correct him because he always talks low of y'all even though....." she sat up and grabbed my hand a looked in my eyes and said "it's not your fault we all know he is a bad person I just wasn't ready for him to say something like that" I believed her but I didn't at the same time she said it wasn't my fault but I felt bad as fuck "stop doing that I know how you think it's not your fault at all you were defending us and didn't know what he was going to say some people just don't have good home training" I started to tear up because why is he trying to break me away from people who make me happy like the way my grandma was before she passed she acted nothing like him and people only talked highly of her my grandfather is in jail but he also think nothing like my father when we get on the phone I don't know what happened to him but that shit gotta go
