Rattlesnake wasn't a bad dragonent, but trouble just seemed to follow him everywhere. He could never seem to understand rules, so he broke them. When Moon told him no flying in the house, he did it anyway. When she asked why he had done it he said because the rule seemed pointless. Moon tried, and tried to get him to behave but he just didn't seem to understand rules. Finally when he was 3 Moon managed to get him to understand that rules were meant to protect him.
After that Rattlesnake tried his best not to break any rules, but he just couldn't help it sometimes. By the time he was in school all his teachers were sick of him. None of them wanted to have to deal with his clueless trouble making and the convincing way he had said he didn't know it was against the rules.
Rattlesnake was also sick of being stuck at home alone with his parents since Dust left for JMA(Jade Mountain Academy). He missed all the fun that they used to have and the times that they would go flying and how much fun their fruit wars had been. Sometimes he wished he could find a best friend, after all being a hybrid was hard.
He was really smart and did great academically, but trouble just found him. Of course when Moon told him that she had enrolled him early at JMA he couldn't have been happier.
