Just By Chance

Betrayal

Rin woke up the next morning to a sweet smell wafting through the apartment. She pushed herself out of bed, slipped into her slippers, looking over at the bed across the room where she found Luna still sleeping peacefully.

"What are you doing, don't you know the guests are supposed to be the ones that get breakfast made for them?" Rin said with a small giggle when she walked out of her room and saw Chin Hae in the kitchen.

He turned around and smiled at Rin a big mixing bowl in his hands. "Well, you two were still asleep and I know Luna is going to wake up not feeling the greatest so I figured I'd just do this for the two of you." He shrugged his shoulders as he picked up a measuring tool from the counter and some of the dough placing it on a tray. He flattened out the dough and put another mixture that was in another bowl in the middle of it before pulling all the ends of the dough together enclosing the mixture in the little ball.

"Is that what I think it is?" Rin asked excitedly clapping her hands together and skipping towards the counter to watch Chin Hae bake. Rin could feel her mouth begin to water as she watched him hard at work.

Chin-Hae looked at her through the corner of his eye and smirked. "Hottoek!" He chuckled, as Rin squealed in excitement.

After an hour more Rin set up the table while Chin-Hae finished the food and put it in the middle of the table. Rin clasped her hands together and smiled "All done!"

Rin's cheesy smile caused him to laugh. "Alright, now all we have to do is wake up Sleeping Beauty." Rin smiled fondly at his words, and walked towards the girl's shared bedroom.

"I'll be right there okay; I just have to grab something." He told Rin walking towards the bathroom. She just nodded silently in reply and entered the dark and quiet room.

Rin cautiously tip toed into the room closer to Lunas sleeping figure. She stopped just a few steps away from the bed and gently nudged her sleeping friend. "Luna, wakey-wakey." 

Luna groaned but continued to sleep, so Rin nudged her again this time a little harder. "Luna wake up come on Chin-Hae made us breakfast."

Again, Luna gave no respond beside an unhappy groan. "Unnie, your gonna give me no choice but to wake you up the hard way." 

Rin bit her bottom lip and narrowed her eyes. "Okay Unnie but just know you made me do it." Rin walked towards the speaker they had in their room and connected her phone to it. She scrolled through her list of songs before one caught her eye. She let out a mischievous giggle as her finger pressed on the song.

"Yeah, okey dokey yo. Is that true? Okey dokey yo. Is that true, okey dokey yo." The song played loudly throughout the room. Luna turned over in her bed immediately and glared at Rin. Rin gave her a tight-lipped smile and an innocent wave.

Rin pressed pause on the music "Breakfast is ready." She widened her smile showing all her teeth, Luna just continued to glare. "Sorry." She added with a squeak.

Luna grabbed her pillow and quickly chucked it at Rin. Unfortunately for Rin it came in so quick she didn't even have time to react, so it ended up hitting her straight in the face knocking her to the ground. "That was uncalled for." Rin pouted crossing her arms. But Luna just turned back in her bed and pulled the covers back over her head. Though Rin could have sworn she heard some snickering coming from her friend.

Rin heard another chuckle from the doorway and turned to see Chin-Hae watching them with a smile on his face. Rin just glared at him. "I'm glad you are enjoying the show but a little assistance would be nice."
