In the weeks that followed Luna and Rin spent a lot of time together in the apartment, Chin-Hae started to go over more often to spend some time with the girls. It made Rin feel more safe to have him there, and truth be told it also made him feel more safe to know that the two girls weren't alone. He basically lived at the girls apartment, sleeping on the couch and waking early enough to make breakfast before Luna could.
Luna found herself feeling more and more conflicted in her feelings for Chin-Hae. Though she liked him a lot she knew her first priority was to Rin. Especially at that time when they were all on edge about whether or not Justin would find them. As the days went on however Luna started to feel more at ease. The only news that had covered the story was Korean and K-pop news outlets, and Big Hit had squashed the story pretty fast.
The story Big Hit released was that Rin was a cousin of Taehyung that came from out of town so he wanted to show her around. As for the boys, they didn't give up on trying to contact Rin. Jimin and Taehyung being the most persistent, but Rin didn't return their attempts. She was afraid, not that they would endanger her. That was far from what she was most afraid of, but she knew what Justin did to other men in her life. Even if she didn't, the dreams she had each night would've reminded her.
It was the same dream as before, except different members made appearances every night. The only difference from that first night was that J-hope never showed up at the end to rescue her anymore.
Luna worried about Rin more and more as the days went on. Rin stayed quiet for the most part keeping to herself, she seemed secretive. Luna didn't want to push her though so she allowed her the time to herself.
Everything stayed the same until March twenty sixth. That morning Rin woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, groaning as she hit the stop button. She let out a light sigh pushing herself to sit up in bed.
Like clockwork she checked her phone for her daily messages from the boys. Except that morning she wasn't met with any messages, she was in fact met by something horrible. It made her blood boil and turn to ice all at the same time.
Twitter was blowing up again, except it wasn't because of her this time. Her mouth dropped open and she felt the stinging sensation in her nose as tears formed in her eyes. "Oh no. Jimin."
"★BREAKING Multiple death threats made against BTS and target member Jimin" was what the headline on the article read. And it only got worse as she read on. There was apparently a twitter user threatening to kill Jimin at the boys Anaheim concert on April first.
Finally having enough Rin quickly closed out of the twitter app and as fast as her fingers could move she opened her phone app to call Jimin.
It rang once before Jimin picked up, his voice sounded even more panicked then Rin felt. " Oh my god Rin finally! I've been trying to contact you forever. Are you okay."
Rin couldn't help the tears that fell from her eyes at the sound of his voice, she hadn't realized how much she missed him until she heard him call her name. "Jimin! Oh my god, I saw Twitter. I'm pretty sure I should be asking you that." She cried clutching onto her phone so tight her fingers started to turn red. She held onto her phone as though if she held on tight enough to it she might be able to crawl through it and end up with Jimin on the other end.
She was confused when she heard a soft chuckle from the other side. "Look at us, both so worried about the other that we aren't even paying attention to what's wrong with ourselves." Rin giggled slightly sniffling and wiping the tears from her cheeks.
"You don't need to worry about me Rin. Big Hit has it handled, they increase security at the shows I'll be fine. They just told me to stay off social media for the time being." Rin nodded silently as he talked. "But if I knew that this is what it would take for me to hear from you I wish it would've happened sooner."
