I wake up to a heavy weight on stomach. Slowly, I open my sleep laced eyes and look down to see that the weight is Noah. During the night he must have leaned too far to the side because he's now lying behind me with his upper body across my stomach.
Since I'm too lazy to push him off, I flick his head as hard as possible but instead of getting off of me, he wraps his arms around my waist. Again I flick his head but all he does is grunt and tighten his hold on me. I try to summon all of the energy I have and push him off of me as well as the couch.
"What the fuck!" he shouts as he sits up, rubbing his eyes in the process.
"You were heavy." I bat my eyelashes as innocently as possible.
"Shut up both of you." Nora grumbles and cuddles closer to Daniel. When she hears mine and Noah's snickers she lifts her head up slowly and when she sees that she's holding onto Daniel she lets out a shriek. When she tries to get up, her legs tangle in the blankets and she ends up falling onto Daniel, waking him up in the process.
"What the hell! I know you want me Nora but really?" he says with a smirk but it's quickly removed when Nora tightens her hands around his neck.
With a smile on my face, I turn back to Noah and see that his eyes are on me not the murder happening next to us. Instantly, my eyes lock with his and I find myself being pulled in by his beautiful green orbs. I try to read them but they give nothing away.
My mind takes me back to last night and that almost kiss. What would have happened if Jared hadn't come to get me? Would he have kissed me? What if he just got caught up in the moment and he didn't really want to kiss me? The thought dampened my mood immediately and my smile drops. Noah must have noticed because he clears his throat and looks away.
I try to get rid of the awkward silence by asking, "What's the time?" He doesn't dare look at me as he reaches over to grab his phone from the side table.
He unlocks his phone and answers my question. "It is 12 now. So what we doing today?"
When Nora hears this she loosens her grip on Daniel and moves to sit next to me on the couch while the boys remain on the floor.
"Well, I'm really hungry so why don't we go to the mall." Noah requests.
"Sure." I agree as well as the boys. I could really do with something to eat. The last thing I ate was mini burgers Nora and I made when we got hungry last night.
After we agree about going to the mall we all get up to get dressed.
"I call dibs on the bathroom first." I shout and take off running towards it. Daniel obviously wouldn't have that because he took off running after me. "Hey! I called dibs. Back off loser!" but he didn't listen. Instead he tackled me from behind, sending us crashing to the floor. Since he landed on me he used that as an advantage and quickly ran into the bathroom and locked the door. "Can someone help me up please?" I grumble to the two who are laughing in front of me. What did that boy eat? He probably weighs as much as a car.
Thankfully, Noah holds out his hand and I reach for it. He hoists me up and I stretch out my sore back before making my way to my closet.
After an hour we're finally ready to go. Daniel took up half an hour of that time in the bathroom. Showering and brushing your teeth really shouldn't take that long.
We all make our way out of the house and towards Noah's car. The drive to the mall is a quick one and before we know it we're there. I hop out of the car with the rest of them and make my way inside.
