Surprise!
I am freaking out.
I hardly slept a wink last night because I was so busy working on my graduation speech, which is due tomorrow. My bin is overflowing with crumpled papers and some are even scattered on the floor from when I was trying to play paper basketball.
And the sad thing is that I only managed to write two sentences the entire night.
Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Juliet Kingsley.
Seriously, that was all I wrote. That's what I get for being a procrastinator.
Since I was so incredibly tired, the moment that I got into Noah's car, I fell asleep. I could really do with a coffee but I over-slept and had no time to make some.
I was startled awake when I felt a hand squeeze my thigh. I swat the hand away and close my eyes again, resting my head on the window.
"Juliet." The voice whispers softly. I feel another squeeze on my thigh but I ignore it.
Ever so slowly, the hand moves up my thigh towards my private region. God, this dude is annoying and he's a perv. Before his hand gets too close, I grab it and glare at the jerk. Noah is looking at me with an innocent smile on his gorgeous smile. I glare harder and squeeze his wrist tighter, digging my nails into his skin.
"Hey!" he shrieks, pulling his wrist out of my hold and rubbing it. "We're at school by the way, hence why I was trying to wake you up." He rolls his eyes and gets out of the car, school bag in hand.
"You don't wake someone up by raping them!" I shout flailing my bag around as I get out of the car.
"Well it worked didn't it?" He said with a cocky smirk. I crossed my arms and look away from him, knowing that he's right. "Plus, it wouldn't be rape if you want it."
I stare at him wide eyed. He was totally right but there was no way in hell that I would let him know that. Instead, I lifted my bag and hit him with it a few times. Instead of screaming in pain, he startslaughing uncontrollably to the point where there are tears coming out of his eyes. This little Jerk.
I hit him once more before I stomp into the building towards my locker.
"Hey!" I hear him call, "Wait up!" Like hell. I hear his fast footstep close behind me.
"Why are you following me? Go to your own locker." I grumble. Mix no sleep with a cocky jerk and you get a pissed off Juliet.
"Well, I have to keep an eye on you to make sure that you don't fall asleep in the middle of the passage." He says with a smirk. I wanted to slap it off of his face so badly; instead I sent him another deadly glare and stopped in front of my locker. Noah casually leans against the locker next to mine.
I put in my lock combination but when I pull on it, it doesn't open. I try it over and over again but it doesn't budge. Noah starts laughing next to me and my hands curl into fists, waiting to pummel his face in. Just as I'm about to -not really-, Nora and Daniel appear out of nowhere.
Nora looks at us confused as she points behind her and says, "Juliet, your locker is over there."
I look at the lockers number and groan. It's number 213 and mine is 231. No wonder the combination didn't work. I slam my head against the locker before I make my way the correct locker.
I put in my combination and thankfully, it opens. As the locker door opens, a note falls out, the red clue card. I'm too tired to even be excited for the clue this morning. I look back at the note on the floor. If I bent down now that would take so much energy and I really needed to store the small amount of energy that I had left. So I look at the 3 lucky participants, flash them a kind smile, hoping that one of them will pick it up.
