'have you started christmas shopping'

well this ones kinda a boring one not gonna lie...

but all in all no i have not started christmas shopping bc WHO TF WOULD START IN EARLY FUCKING OCTOBER LIKE NOO babe you need help.

sooo instead of leaving y'all with this unsatisfying prompt (at least to me), i will enlighten you all with the aMaZiNg experience i had at the dmv today😃.

soo i've actually been on quarantine for about 10 days now, and i just got out today, which is perfect because today was the day of my ROAD TEST.

now i've been like terrified for like 2 months waiting now so my nerves were at an all time high, plus the fact that i was going back to school and was way behind in all of my subjects (bc teachers be like "wtf is a google meet never heard of her" like bruh     👁👄👁). needless to say i was STRESSED tf out.

school went by really smoothly; all of my teachers were really understanding and i don't have to make everything up in like 2 days which is nice, and my friends were very happy to see me which i was very happy about as well (shoutout to my amazing friends love y'all <33).

so then i leave school early (senior privilege 😗✌️), around 9th period so that's like 1:30. my reservation is at 3:00, and the website said to be there about a half hour early. so my parents pick me up and we drive about an hour to the dmv (the only appointment available at the time was an hour away).

on the way we got chick-fil-a which i really appreciate. their grilled chicken club w the bacon is BUSSIN BUSSIN!! like OMG 10/10

so we arrive a half hour early at the dmv, and we just wait at the driving test site. like we sat there for a half hour, in the car, just waiting 👁👄👁

my parents were kinda fighting bc techniquelly only one parent was supposed to be there and they both were there and my mom was freaking out and my dad and i were kinda fed up with it but whatever that wasn't the issue.

so the driving instructors get out of their cars they were WAITING IN. like the whole half hour they were waiting as well like WTF. soo they saw my parents and i just cleaning out our van and throwing trash n shit out and just like getting out of the car a lot. just WATCHING. like tf we could've done this a half hour ago but NO, they waited. but whatever that wasn't the main issue either.

there were 2 people, a man and a woman. the woman seemed pretty nice, yk nice middle aged lady. the guy seemed like he had a stick so far up his ass that it reached his kidneys not even joking. so the woman seemed like she was walking more towards my car and the guy walking towards the car in front of mine so i was like "sweet i got the nice lady. this will be FINEEE"

NOPE YOU THOUGHT WRONG

BC THEY FUCKING SWITCHED AT LIKE THE LAST SECOND.

so i ended up with the asshole and the person in front got nice lady.

whatever it's fine just be bubbly yk warm up to them.

SO HERES THE ISSUE: he asked my parents and i to get out of the car, which we all did, and he goes (not even hello how are ya or anything) "is there another vehicle that she can take the test in?"

my mom and i deadass go "WHAT?"

and he's like (lowkey a bit agressive) "I SAID is there another vehicle that she can use to take the test?"

we all go "umm no whyyy???"

and he's like "the iNsPeCtIoN is expired, it expired 9/30"

guys i hope y'all know that tds date is OCTOBER 5th. the 30th was FIVE FUCKING DAYS AGO. like ok chile we'll get the inspection soon like it's fine.

well he didn't let us off the hook and kinda yelled at us for it, sooo long story short i didn't take the test 🤡

but honestly i'm not heartbroken over it like i knew smth like this would happen (like me and the dmv just don't mix yk like we don't mesh). i was able to reschedule my test for next month, so more practice parallel parking; my parents felt rlly bad so they bought me sushi and a new pair of shoes which i'm externally grateful for 🥺🥺🥺 and my dad was like FUMING like 'this asshole twat son of bitch' like it wasn't funny at first bc i was in like shock yk but now it's like hilarious.

plus i probably would've failed bc of how much of an asshole the guy was like he was jsut so rude about it like he could've been nice about it and been like "sorry guys but unfortunately your inspection is expired, just reschedule another time and you'll be set have a nice day." or at least a HELLO would've been nice lol.

but whatever it's fine it's totally fine i got 8 pairs of disposable chopsticks from the store and i'm very exited about it soo yeah.
