'share a memory/story of a family member'

i think it's pretty ironic and cool that this is the prompt for today.

yesterday my uncle moved onto the other side of the veil, and while we can't see or hear him now, he is always there.

so to honor him i'm going to share just a little thing that i really appreciate from him.

so me and him weren't like close close; like it was a normal uncle-niece relationship yk. but we would see him and his family as often as we could, whether that being they travelled down to our house or we travelled up to theirs (we lived about 8 hours away by car).

but the one thing that i love, is that he would always tell me he loved me everytime we parted; and he is a super genuine guy so i know that everytime he told me he was telling us true.

now i am closer (in proximity) to my moms brothers, so naturally we see them more often. but we aren't close in that sense per say, which is fine, but still yk

but just hearing it from him after every time they or we left, just made me so happy, even if we weren't close there was someone always there for me; which i appreciate a lot.

uncle mike, i miss you, lots of people miss you and your amazing personality and kindness. thank you for everything you have done on the earth, but now it's time for the work to be done in heaven. i love you too uncle mike, and i'll be looking forward to the time we meet again :)

a/n: this is why i haven't updated in about 3 days, i've been trying to be in the right mind frame to write this but i haven't til now. i'm at peace, knowing and believing what i do and that i will see him again. thank you all and enjoy this beautiful kuroken pic :D
