'do you like your handwriting'

yes. i do.

it's actually been like a love-hate relationship over the years; like i used to loathe my handwriting bc i didn't think that it looked as aesthetically neat as other girls.

i remember in 5th grade i was "taking lessons" from a girl to try to make my handwriting more like hers, bc her handwriting was GORGEOUS. like i really wanted mine to be just like hers. so we would go to school early and she would have me practice my writing like hers. and it was that way for a while like i would write somewhat similar to her, but over the years i've developed my own style.

i've also always been in competition with my mother, who has beautiful handwriting. like she (when i was younger) would do handlettering and calligraphy for fun, and it was amazing. and she's also really good at writing on chalk & white boards lol. but she would sometimes tell me like 'oh yeah yours is nice ig but mine is way way neater' like she was always better than me.

but now i have my own style that i have delveloped over the years, changing it up a bit every once in awhile, and i'm happy with it.

i mean i still apologize when i have to give someone notes just in case they might not be able to read it, but overall i think it's pretty legible, unless i was rushing hard but you can usually read it.

don't be like me and hate it, it's a part of you, i think it kinda tells your personality sometimes, like you can tell what kind of a person they are based on their handwriting but that's just my opinion 🤷‍♀️

but yeah i really like it now, and i hope that you all at least like your handwriting <3
