Rory was thinking that it had been a long week. She had been ready for Friday since Monday. She was ready to relax and kick back. She was meeting Logan and the gang at the pub. She was running late. Greg at the Yale Daily News was having problems with the typesetting on his latest story.

She entered the pub, spotting the gang at the usual table. As she approached, she heard them gossiping about everything. The girls are talking a-mile-minute and the guys are hanging on their every word. There's not an empty chair, so she flops down in Logan's lap.

After several rounds of drinks, the girls are dancing on the dance floor and the guys are sitting at the table watching. No one noticed the guy sitting in the corner, nursing a beer. He was watching the group of girls dancing. He was joined by another male.

Saturday morning, Logan wakes up to an empty bed. As he is becoming alert, he hears the shower being turned on. He goes to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. He knows that Rory will want her coffee when she gets out of the shower. He decides to join her.

Rory was sitting at the kitchen bar, drinking her coffee, waiting on Steph. They had plans for shopping and a spa day. They are meeting Juliet and Rosemary for lunch in New York after shopping. Rory was in need of a new dress for tonight. The plan was to meet the guys at the Huntzberger apartment in New York at 7:00. They have reservations at Per Se at 9:00 to celebrate Rory's upcoming graduation from Yale. Her family would have a big society party in Hartford to show her off, but this was just friends out to enjoy time together. After Per Se, the plan was in Finn's hands. He owns an upscale club in Manhattan. He has reserved the best table in the house for them to chill, dance and drink.

Logan sat down across from her asking her the plans for today. He was trying not to give away that he already knew what she was up to. She told him that she and Steph would be in New York shopping while he worked. She explained that she needed a relaxed day after finishing the last final Friday. He opened his wallet to hand her his black Amex card, but she opened her wallet and showed him two black Amex cards. She explained that she had lunch with both grandfathers Wednesday and they both gave her access to her trust funds. Logan just laughed. For a girl from a small town, who did work-study her first two years of Yale, she was now richer than him. That did not bother him a bit. She deserved to be pampered.

They heard the door open and a whirlwind in pink skinny jeans, white pullover cashmere sweater, Pink Triple S Air Nylon Sneakers with Logo tennis shoes and blond ponytail came crashing in. "Ror, you ready? Hurry up. We want to beat the traffic. Come on. Oh, hey Logan. Give her your card and a kiss, we need to go.!" With a kiss and I'll see you at the Huntzberger apartment, the girls are on their way.

Rory dressed in black leggings, a blue sweater, and ballet slippers and Steph were cruising along in Steph's bright red BMW, singing at the top of their lungs to Loverboy's Working for the Weekend. They both loved singing to the music from the '80s. The fact that it drove the guy crazy was just an extra benefit. As they were approaching the New York Skyline, Rory was on her phone ordering a car to pick them up at the Huntzberger apartment on Park Ave. She was explaining that she wanted an SUV because they would be shopping. Having access to the Huntzberger car service was just another perk of dating Logan. She could have called the Hayden car service, but she liked Frank best.

The girls had shopped and eaten lunch with Juliet and Rosemary at The Tavern on the Green in Central Park. Now the four of them were on their way to La Prairie Spa at The Ritz-Carlton. They split up, Steph was getting a massage, Juliet was getting a facial, Rory and Rosemary were getting a pedicure and manicure. Rory was telling Rosemary about the dress she bought for tonight. After shopping and the spa, Frank dropped the girls off at the Huntzberger apartment in New York to get ready and wait on the guys.

The guys arrived around 7:00 to get ready to go out. The guys had already started drinking without the girls. Rory pulled Logan to the side and asked if he had driven. He explained to her, yes, and he had not been drinking, but he could not say the same for Colin and Finn. Rory then asked about Robert. He explained that Robert would meet them at the Restaurant. He had a meeting with his dad. Logan and Rory both looked at Juliet. After a meeting with his dad, Robert will need some cheering up.

Around 8:30, Logan got a text from Frank that he was downstairs with the limo.

Robert was already seated at the reserved table and by the look on his face, he was not in a good mood. When they got to the table, Robert informed them that he had already ordered a bottle of champagne. After the drink orders are taken, Juliet pulls Robert to the dance floor, hoping to cheer him up. The rest of the gang joined in and they had a wonderful time, relaxing and letting go.
