"If your reading this, my name is Angel and I need your help."
'Angel' she whispered, chills running through her leaving goosebumps on her skin. She held on to her bag tightly as she read the writing on the wall. She took a long drag of cigarette trying to remember where she had heard the name before. The bell rang snapping her back to reality, she rushed to school discarding the cigarette at the dumpster.
"You reek of smoke." Her friend, Apple, said handing her a textbook. Soraya sighed taking an air freshener to spray on her body. Apple facepalmed and shook her head in embarrassment. They headed to class together and went to their seats, "Soraya Coleman, you are needed in the principal's office." The speaker blared. Apple looked at her trying to communicate with her through her eyes, it was a thing they had. Soraya gave her a reassuring smile before leaving. She stopped right at the door of his office giving herself some sort of assurance then walked in.
"Do you know why I called you here?" he asked with a peculiar expression, a mix of concern and disgust. Soraya stared down at his table just looking at the nameplate that read 'Principal Buckley'
"Are you listening to me?"
"Of course."
She sat down on the sofa as the principal looked at her in disbelief but quickly shrugged it off. "You know your mother is having a hard time, the least you should do is stay out of trouble." She laughed muttering profanities then looked at him dead in the eye, "I don't appreciate people bringing up my mother, you're talking like I'm not also in mourning too."
"Well if you were, you wouldn't behave as you do."
Soraya scoffed then stormed out of the office. She went straight to her safe place, the girls' bathroom. She looked at the mirror fighting her tears away. She had remembered, remembered the blood, the screams, everything. She broke down holding to her shirt struggling for air. She quickly searched for her inhaler using it to calm herself down. Then a figure caught her eye, a boy, to be precise, out the window. Her blood boiled as she went straight to the window calling him out "Hey!" the boy's eyes widened as he stared at her in shock.
"You're such a fucking perv, if I ever see you here again, I promise you, you won't hear the last of it." She turned away to leave but before she could reach the door, she heard him speak;
"What did you say?"
She slowly turned around to meet him but this time he looked different; his hair, pure white, and his eyes black and soulless. He wore all black and she noticed the number of piercings he had on his ear but that's not what scared her, what scared her was the fact he was now in the bathroom with her.
