"You missed the good stuff," Dakota whispered.
"So did you," she grinned as she noticed the lipstick on his lips. Dakota rolled his eyes and smiled while Apple laughed. A few minutes later, the movie finished. They said their goodbyes and went their various ways.
Soraya came back to the sound of pots clanking. She smiled but hid it immediately after her mum went out of the kitchen.
"Where have you been? It's a school night." Her mum asked a frown etched on her face.
"I've had a long day let's have this conversation later," Soraya said going up to her room.
"If I care, I'm being invasive. If I'm not, I'm a bad mother." She yelled.
Soraya stopped midway down the stairs, "you're not a bad mother." She said, then went to her room. She plopped on her bed, scrolling through her phone apps to play a game but every name suddenly changed to Angel. She rolled her eyes and switched off her phone. She took off her clothes to shower, humming a song as she ran a bath. She decided to brush as she waited. She looked in the mirror to see a smirking Angel but it wasn't the same Angel she had known. Her eyes widened as she took a step back, her heart beating faster as she could feel her lungs closing. She gasped for air moving backwards holding on to the walls for support.
"I-I can't breathe" she choked up, tears streaming down as she slowly bends.
"Damn, this looks serious," he said smiling, "should I help you or not?"
Soraya sobbed, " please."
"Are you going to help me get my revenge or not?" He asks.
She nodded clutching onto her chest.
"Alright then."
He strode to her bedstand to get the inhaler; he bent down and placed it on her lips. He pressed it down as she took deep breaths regaining composure before she noticed that she was naked throughout. She quickly dashed to the bathroom to wear her robe.
"Why are you doing that? I've seen everything already," he whined.
"You're disgusting."
"I mean what do you expect from a demon, kindness?"
"What do you want?" Soraya demanded.
"I've gotten it already."
"Then leave."
He glanced at her smiling, "No, you're fun."
Soraya stared at him in disbelief. She didn't understand why the universe couldn't just leave her alone; her life was already fucked enough.
"Staring is rude." He snapped.
" Why do you look like that?"
" Like what?" He said.
" Like hell."
" Ouch! But good at the same time. I was starting to think I was looking more like this moron."
" Who? Do you have a disorder or something?" Soraya said, distressed by the situation.
"No and even if I did, I don't think I would outrightly say yes love."
" Angel, this look of yours isn't going to work. You scared me and got what you wanted. you can stop now."
He chuckled, "I'm not Angel."
Her heart dropped.
" I- I don't understand. Who are you?"
"It's best not to find out love," he said, then disappeared.
