Chapter 1: The Red Silk Box

 So this is my new story, it was meant to have Janoskians in it but due to a fellow janoskianator that decided to make rude comments about my last story I took them out, thank her for that but this story is about One Direction and Ed Sheeran. I've actaully already written this, it was my first fanfic but im re-writting it :)

“Heidi!” I heard my mother say, her voice was too familiar, “wake up!”

I squinted my eyes open and saw my Mother standing beside me, a big smile on her face. I hadn’t seen her happy in a while, work had been a nightmare for her, my brothers had to move in with their dad because Mum didn’t have enough time left for them in the day, she barely had time for me. My eyes wandered to my phone that happened to flash, a text message, but that’s not what was important, it was the fact that is was 6:47am. I grunted letting her know I was listening.

“I got the job, I got it!” She squealed, her brown hair bounced as she did a little dance on the spot, “I’m going to New York”

Mum had applied for a job in America, it was for minimum three months, all expenses paid. She had waited for over 6 months to even get an application form, and after a long hard year of working, she got it. New York, I thought to myself; that would be a nice place to live. It would actually snow there, in Australia it doesn’t snow, unless you lived in Victoria.

“Are the boys coming with us?” By boys I meant my brothers.

“See that’s the thing Heidi, its only three months so I thought you could go live with your Father” She said rubbing my leg, sitting down on the edge of my bed.

My Father lived in England, I think she was asking a bit much. I mean, I’m in the middle of studying for my HSC, she can’t just disrupt my schooling.

“Seriously?” I questioned her, I could hear the ache in my voice.

“Well yes Heidi, if you want to come and live with me after three months, just let me get settled in first” She said like nothing was wrong at all, this was a major move and she’s acting like its the tinest thing in the world.

“What about the boys?”

“I already spoke to them, and there fine to stay here” She was actually being serious.

I sighed and dug my head back into the pillows, this had to all be just a bad dream. I could feel my Mum’s eyes watching me, I’ve always liked her eyes, a light blue and the right one had a patch of brown.

Five minutes pasted in record time, I was getting tired of looking at the ceiling. I rolled out of bed, grabbing my phone and opening up my blinds, wincing at the sunlight. I slumped down the stairs into the kitchen, where Mum looked like she was preparing lunch for me. That means she has work today. I pulled out a box of lucky charms and poured some into a bowl and adding milk, I think I have this almost every day, no kidding. I wonder if they will have lucky charms in England.

“So when do you leave?” I ask her as she stands across the table from me.

“Next week”

“Next week? Isn’t that a bit sudden?” One week was not enough time to tell my friends I was leaving.

“But you, you're going tomorrow” She said, I think I almost fell of my chair when she told me that.

“Tomorrow? Like as in tomorrow next week” She couldn’t actually think I was going to get on a plane tomorrow to go to England.
