Ballroom Fever - Ryeji

A Little Trouble

The trophy that Ryujin won is placed on top of a wooden table in Ryujin's room. A long table where Ryujin can place all of the awards she have won. Most of her awards are ribbons and some are certificates. It's Ryujin's first time winning a trophy, that's why she is always cleaning it and staring at it.

Ryujin was slowly walking to school with Chaeryeong and Yeji once again. While Lia and Yuna are yet to appear because they are always late. The three of them were in a good mood and their faces are covered with a wide smile. They were just talking about Ryujin's competition and Ryujin's first enemy, Jeon Heejin.

The school was a little loud because of the twenty students counting their steps and the boombox that is playing a song called "Chillin' Chillin'". Yeji couldn't see Ryujin's entire smile, all she can see is Ryujin's beautiful side profile. Yeji wished that there is a mirror on her own way that she can use to look at Ryujin's reflection. 'That would gas me up with happiness,' Yeji thought to herself. She is crazy in love with Ryujin and she has discovered what love is. She's getting loco and she thinks that Chaeryeong is sooo lucky because she's in a relationship with Ryujin. For Yeji, it's impossible to swipe her feelings for Ryujin away.

Yeji started throwing glances at Ryujin while walking. Fortunately, Chaeryeong was busy holding Ryujin's hand and looking around their school. If she sees Yeji looking at Ryujin in an endearing way, things might go upside down.

Ryujin was happy too. Tiny specks of yesterday's memory are painted in her eyes. She admired Yeji so much because of her talents. She didn't know that her bestfriend with bangs from 10 years ago would end up being a talented and a little attractive person. Definitely something she wasn't expecting whatsoever.

However, when Yeji was looking at Ryujin's joyful look on her face, Ryujin suddenly looked at Yeji as she wanted to start a conversation making their eyes meet each other. Yeji gasped in a quiet manner and looked away immediately, trying her best not to take another look at Ryujin.

Ryujin stopped walking making Chaeryeong and Yeji do the same as questions arose. "Were you looking at me?" Ryujin asked Yeji.

Chaeryeong got jealous as expected. She let go of Ryujin's hand and crossed her arms, scrutinizing Yeji's expressions and gestures. Chaeryeong noticed it before that Yeji is sometimes looking at Ryujin like she's in love with her. Everytime Ryujin speaks, Yeji would always gaze at Ryujin's eyes and ignore the rest of the world.

Yeji started thinking of an excuse to Ryujin. "I..." Yeji forced a chuckle out of her trembling mouth as she started scratching the back of her head. "Y-yes." Yeji confessed. Deep inside, Yeji wanted to tell Ryujin the words "I like you" and face the adamantine fists of rejection. However, Yeji still wants to win Ryujin, because she believes that she is too pretty to get rejected. Yeji doesn't get rejected, she's the one who rejects.

"Why? Do you want to ask something? Ask anything and I'll answer them. After all, you are the reason I won a trophy," Ryujin said.

'Will you marry me? No! Why would I say that?' Yeji panicked in her thoughts as she almost uttered the wrong words. Yeji's mental state has met its downfall. Her thoughts are burning and turning into ashes. Yeji couldn't lie to her crush so she decided to tell Ryujin the truth. "N-Nothing. Your smile is just addractive. That's all, Princess." Yeji chuckled.

Chaeryeong thought that Yeji was just teasing Ryujin and being annoying towards her once again, so she decided to calm herself. If Ryujin catches her being jealous, Ryujin might ignore her and become cold to her. She remembers that Ryujin hates people who easily get jealous.

"Addractive? What does that mean?" Ryujin asked and let out a laugh.

"I-it means addictive and attractive together." Yeji explained and let out an eyesmile to clear the awkwardness that polluted the air.
