"Keia, how sure are you that something is going to come for us?" Robin asks as she peeks out the window again.

"Well... the last time it came for us it happened in moments." I say. "This is... not the same." I roll the baseball bat in my hands a bit. I was expecting to have used it already, but the sun was going to rise soon. I was hoping that maybe we would survive the night and confront Autumn in the morning. Sadly, however, this was not the reality we were met with.

CRASH

A window shatters and glass falls all over the floor.

"Shit!" Robin shouts, running into the kitchen (presumably to grab something to defend herself with.) In a way, I was kind of glad I'd get a chance to defend myself for once. I spend so much time cowering away from the things that scare me that in a way this was fulfilling. I stand up slowly, walking to the area of the crash.

"Keia.." a voice says from another room "Let's have a talk, I can tell you all about how to solve this little issue of yours." This was not at all the voice of the man who had terrorized me in the bathroom stall, this was a new voice altogether. It didn't seem to be familiar to me, but considering the situation, I was still ready to take action. "I know why you're stuck in this silly loop. I know how to put an end to it all." the voice continues. "Just listen to me. Help me." for a brief moment I considered that maybe this person was telling the truth, but something in the back of my mind screamed that I needed to hide somewhere and take him by surprise. I quickly dive into a closet, praying that Robin would be alright hidden in the kitchen if I left her there. Why would he enter through the window like that if he had peaceful intentions? I peer out of the closet to see Robin frantically gesturing towards me, although I wasn't fully sure what it meant.

"If you team up with Andy, we can deal with this. We can kill the horrible monster that's trying to do all these awful things to you." A door creaks open as Odessa steps into the room. Something about him made my blood run cold, he seemed familiar when I looked at him. Did I see him in the last loop?

Suddenly, Robin dives from the kitchen with something sharp, diving onto him. The girl I knew before seemed to change into something more angry and feral than before.

"You! I know you! I can just feel it!" Robin shouts as she raises the knife and plunges it into Odessa's left shoulder. "This is your fault!" My body suddenly fills with dread at the thought of stepping out of the closet as I watch this all unfold.

I found myself scared again.

"Keia!" Robin looks at the closet, and in an instant, Odessa grabs her by her sides and chucks her back into the kitchen, crushing her back against a cabinet. I was shocked to see that he had been able to throw her at all considering his stab wound, but when I looked closer, his face scrunched up in agony after he threw her. He stands up slowly, trying to not use his left side much, and staggers towards Robin.

"I figured you would be a problem too..." Odessa says as he bends down and picks up the knife from Robins's hand. She must've hit the ground hard because she didn't have much strength. "I'll just make sure you don't interfere anymore."

Craack!

Before I realized what was happening, I was running out of the closet swinging the bat directly at the back of Odessa's head. It had much more resistance than I had expected, and it very likely bruised my wrist considering how hard I had swung.

"Fuck!" he cried out as he falls to the floor. He spins around towards me, slicing my left leg causing a white-hot pain to cut its way through me. I do my best to swing at his back, only to be met by a sliced stomach. "Why doesn't anybody seem to listen to me?!" he shouts. I could feel blood seeping through my hoodie as I fall to the ground. I was sure I could get back up again, I just needed a couple of seconds... "I know exactly what I'm doing, I've got it all planned out. Why can't anybody just listen to what I say?!" Odessa is frantically shouting now, waving the now bloodied knife around.

"Well.." I say with a groan, slowly standing myself back up. "Maybe it's because you're out of your damn mind!" I swing the bat for his knees, landing directly at his knee caps. Odessa cries out and falls onto his knees.

"You don't understand.." Odessa says through his teeth. I swing again at his back, making him fall onto his stomach.

"Understand what?" I hear a shuffle behind me, Robin must've gotten to her feet.

"Kill him." She says as she stumbles her way over to me. "He's too dangerous to be kept alive." Robin is standing over him now, and she raises her foot to begin crushing his ribs. I wasn't used to seeing Robin being as dark as this. Odessa grabs her leg, throwing her back onto the ground, and in the quickest motion, slices Robin's throat. My mind felt as if it was falling and my body was in slow motion. I had no control over my body as I watched myself swing the bat against Odessa's head, and with a nauseating crack, crushing in his skull.

The girl scrambles to call an ambulance, crying and screaming. Her fingers trembled as she dialed the number.
