He leaned away and cleared his throat, "We better get you home." disappointed. Anger. Sadness. They were all mixed up in this little heart of mine. I wanted him to kiss me but at the same time I don't. We both skated awkwardly out of the rink and gave our skates back to the person in charge of it. We both then walked awkwardly back to my apartment. I wrapped my arms around me to keep me from breaking down. I hated feelings this way, I wasn't about to break down in tears because of my sister's fiancee. I shouldn't! That's the only thing keeping my eyes from tearing up.

As we arrived at my apartment's door, I turned around to see him looking at anything but me. "Lee--" but he cut me off, "I'm sorry that shouldn't have happened, it was an honest mistake." this made my blood boil. "What the hell is going on between us Lee?! I am confused." I raised my voice. "I do... I do have feelings for you Charlie but... we shouldn't even feel this way towards each other." he replied. "Then why are you marrying my sister if you have feelings for me!?" I held the urge to smile widely at his confession. "I love your sister Charlie, everyone is looking forward to see me and her marry. The public is going crazy about it." he said, it was silent.

Until I spoke up, "Then let me ask you this question... If you were not famous, you are just like me, a normal regular working person... would you call off the wedding? Think about it." as I opened my jammed up door which was a total struggle making me stay with Lee longer, awkward. Stupid door. I then tried to slam the door but it stopped half way making it creak while Lee just stared at me, amused. I then pushed the door to make it close. As I did I put my back against the door, fighting the tears. I then entered my room to see Stella already left but she left a little surprise. On the bed was rose petals and the room was filled with different scents of candles that were lit which I had to scold Stella for she could've burned down my apartment. A sobbed escaped my lips unconsciously.

I then notice that Lee's jacket was still on my petite body. I tightened the jacket around me as I let the sadness consume me.

Another day at work, I was picking out different kinds of pink flowers while the bride and groom were picking out their wedding rings. "He didn't kiss you!?" Stella asked, obviously shocked. "Nope," I told her as I blew a pink balloon to test which color balloon goes great with the flowers. Stella then sucked the air out of the balloon as she said in her squeaky voice "He doesn't know what he's missing then," which made me laugh at her voice. I then did so myself, sucking the air out of the balloon "He's stuck with me since he is marrying my sister." me and Stella laughed out loud making our squeaky laughs fill the room. A throat cleared and there we saw Celine and Lee standing looking at us weirdly.

"What are you guys doing?" Celine asked as if she wanted to join. I remember when we were kids whenever me and Stella would have so much fun Celine would want to join us but she always ruined the fun. "Oh, nothing." Stella said as she rolled her eyes. Celine then spoke up "Mom, wants dinner with us." as she said that I suddenly let go of the balloon making it fly across the room.

Having my mother over is much more worse than the pink balloons. My mother was controlling, judging, and most of all a perfectionist. Celine was able to survive the ride because she was the youngest and the favorite among my parents. That's why Celine was so excited for mother to come here unlike me who is dreading every second that passes. Each second that passes getting only closer towards the woman who I can live and can't live without. Mother, sometimes she reminds me of Reptar from Rugrats.

"Great,"

I pulled my black sequin down to keep it from crawling up my thighs. It was a long sleeve and showed enough cleavage to make any man to keep walking rather than making them stop and drool which Celine usually wear when we're not meeting our mother. My hair was straight and I wore black heels, I checked my phone to see the address that Celine texted. Since it wasn't Celine or mother's flat then I would think that this was Lee's flat.
