Chapter 20. Bliss

The kiss was incredible. My first kiss. I usually hear stories about girls complaining that their first kiss was a total wreck or was with a total loser. But mine was with Lee pace, the Lee Pace, on his wedding. No.

I remember even during this amazing mind blowing kiss that his bride, Celine, decided not to marry him, and here I am standing in front of him with my lips upon his. While me and Lee was in our own little bubble, he cupped my face while my hands slithered up his chest and stayed there. I hear my aunt Janet clapping her hands along with Stella. "That's my niece right there!!" aunt Janet shouted. Lee and me pulled away as we stared into each others eyes smiling like two idiots. "So, that's how it feels like." I said as I slowly bit my lip. He chuckled as he kissed me once more and pulled me into a loving embrace.

The reporters were going crazy.

Suddenly, I was yanked away from Lee. Mom. "You slut! You were sleeping with the groom all along! You—" "Oh, shut it ma! Haven't it even occurred to you that it was Celine who was getting married yet she found her ex-boyfriend and possibly slept with him?" I interrupted her as I raise an eyebrow. She was shocked and furious that for the first time, I talked back at her. 

Mom gawked as she turned around to start yelling again at Celine, who was still sucking her now-boyfriend's face off. I looked back at Lee and smiled. What was gonna happen now? Is Lee really my Prince charming? My knight in shining armor? Of course, remember how I said my prince charming might be stuck in a tree? Well, I was wrong, because my prince charming is not stuck in a tree, he is the tree.

"Wanna grab a bite to eat?" he asked, "Ask me tomorrow." was my reply. Lee's smile fell but he saw the mischievous glint in my eye. As I turned around to walk away from the chaos and beautiful wedding that took me a lot of effort to get ready. I could finally say that this day is the best day ever! I got paid to plan the biggest wedding I have ever planned so far, and I got the guy.

Early in the office, Stella and aunt Janet were there. They surprised me with a small mini party with small cakes and a bottle of wine. "SURPRISE!" they both shouted at the same time. I was surprise with their presence especially my aunt Janet's. "What's all this for?" I asked as I shrugged off my jacket and threw my bag on my desk. aunt Janet then slammed a magazine on the table.

Lee Pace and Celine Swan's wedding interrupted as the bride said she was in love with someone else. Mr. Pace the actor from the Hobbit who plays King Thranduil wasn't gonna suffer from a heart break, he has his eyes on another prize. Their wedding planner, Charlotte Swan, an insider told us that Lee and Charlotte had feelings for each other but hid it as Lee was getting married to Celine.

Right as Celine told everyone even the groom that her heart belong to someone else, Lee said "Finally." as he walked straight to Charlotte and pulled her into a passionate kiss— their first kiss— as what the insider told us.

Once I was done reading aunt Janet and Stella were jumping up and down as they both started squealing. "And there's a whole interview later! Lee agreed to give an interview with David Letterman about the situation! Lee's career is shooting up— and so is yours!" Stella told me excitedly. "How do you know all these information?" I asked wondering if she was a stalker or something. "Lee's assistant told me because he wants you to watch the interview later— and he wants to have dinner later. He said he will not take 'no' for an answer, he will pick you up at 7pm. P. S wear jeans." Stella told me.

I rolled my eyes as I headed towards my desk. "Any work? Any new schedules?" I asked, although, I am super duper happy that Lee and me can finally be together but my love life cannot interfere with my work. "Nope, except a few old customers and some of your partners such as that person who takes care of the flowers—" "You mean Mrs. Lyle." I told her. "Yes, they asked if you were getting married or even better— are you pregnant?" Stella laughed out. "Oh, your mom called but Janet here dealt with it," Stella added as Aunt Janet licked her lips and mumbled "She had it coming," making me smile.

After doing a few work at the office, the three of us went back to my place to watch the interview. I was nervous but at the same time excited. Aunt Janet was ranting about how my mother was being such a total sore loser while Stella went in the kitchen to get the popcorn ready. I just sat in front of the TV, wondering what could happen during the interview. I didn't even know what Lee and me are? Were we a couple? Just friends? That's what made me nervous, are together without me knowing?

While I was inside my little bubble I didn't notice Aunt Janet and Stella were beside me squealing like school girls but what caught my attention was Lee's face popping on the TV.

Damn, he is gorgeous.

"Lee Pace, everyone!" David Letterman announced, right as Aunt Janet and Stella stood up cheering as if we were watching sports. "How are you Mr. Pace?" David asked, "I'm doing great." he asked giving his killer smile that I know so well. "I bet you are, your love life is in a uproar." David stated. "Tell me, who is the lucky girl that made you okay with wedding cancelling?"

"Well, her name is Charlotte Swan but everyone calls her Charlie. she's beautiful— God her eyes!" this made my cheeks burn up while the two idiots beside me were pushing and teasing me. "She's just like a personal reminder from all this chaos, you know... paparazzi, media, pressure from movies... she makes life seem so simple. I love the way she loves her job so much. The way she smiles every time she witnessed a wedding... Even though, I've never seen her plan any other wedding than my own but you could see it in her eyes in everything she does. She makes me laugh, she makes me cry and sometimes she makes me want to do both because when I'm with her I don't know... I may not know her well like I know Celine, her sister, but just talking to Charlie makes me think that I've known her for a long time."

"Wow. It seems like you're really in love." David commented.

"Yes, I really am David... I'm in love with a girl named Charlotte Swan."

In that moment I can die happily.

Then my phone buzzed, I grabbed it and saw one name on the screen.
