"Lucas!" Katherine follows her son through the dog park as he chases the dog whose leash he was suppose to have a better grip on. She catches up to him standing in front of a brown and white dog. She bends down to her son, "hey. You can't just go running off like that."

Lucas feigns a look of guilt, "sorry mom. Lucy wanted to play with this dog." He pointed to the brown and white dog.

She pats him on the head, scratching him behind the ears, "yes, he's very cute."

Chris stood, watching the little boy chase his dog all the way to Dodger. He watched the woman he met at the bar a few weeks prior chase him, kneeling down in front of him.

"His name is Dodger." She hears above her. She had been so wrapped up in her son she forgot there was someone attached to the other side of the leash of the white and brown dog.

"I'm so sorry." She stands up and looks at him for the first time, a half smile on his face, "Chris? Hi." She blushed as she finally recognized him out in the light.

Chris watched her stand up, seeing the blue eyes peeking through brown hair that was blowing in her face. He chuckled, "hi. Look at that. It's fate."

Katherine laughed, "I guess so." She points to Lucas, "this is my son, Luke."

Chris smiles and offers his hand to the boy who shakes it politely. Lucas pulls on Katherine's shirt to bring her ear down to his mouth, "mom, is that Captain America?"

Katherine blushes, looking up at Chris, knowing he heard. "I think It is sweetie. Remember how we talked about how Captain America isn't real and he is played by an actor? Well." She stands up and motions to Chris, "Chris plays Captain America, or did."

Lucas looks annoyed, "yeah yeah. I know he isn't real mom."

Chris bends down to him, "how old are you bud?"

"I'm 7."

Chris looks surprised as he stands up, "you're tall."

Katherine smiles, "yeah. His dad was really tall."

Chris nods, making a mental note of her saying was, meaning she wasn't with him anymore.

Lucas turns to Chris, "can I ask you a question?"

Chris laughs and bends back down to him, "yeah bud, anything you want."

"How come you tell Bucky til the end of the line and then leave him for a girl he only kissed once? He was supposed to be his best friend. I don't think Steve was a great friend."

Katherine covers her mouth to try and stifle a laugh as Chris looks up at her. She doesn't help him, only shrugs.

Chris stands up, taken aback at his question, "well I don't know. And just because you only saw them kiss once doesn't mean they didn't do it more than once. Steve wanted to get married and have kids I suppose."

Lucas crosses his arms in front of him, "he didn't have to leave Bucky to do that."

Chris looks back at Katherine for help who was still laughing. She nodded and bent down to her son, "honey things aren't always the same in books that they are in movies and tv."

"But Steve kissed Sharon. He should have been with Sharon. But he left her to marry her aunt. That's gross."

Chris laughed, bending down to them, "look bud. Love is complicated." He looked at Katherine, "and you can't always help who you fall in love with." He looked back at Lucas, "I don't have the answers. I'm sorry." He stood back up, still smirking as Katherine stood up.

"I'm sorry. He doesn't have much of a filter. He can be a bit intense sometimes. And he's a huge fan of the comic books."

Chris laughed, shaking his head, "no. It's fine. It doesn't bother me."

She looked at her watch, dying for their interaction to be over, "I'm sorry. We should really get back."

He nodded, "yeah. Of course." He looked at Lucas, holding his hand out to him again, "it was nice to meet you Luke. I hope to see you again soon."

"We're here every Saturday morning."

"Lucas!" Katherine blushed as she saw Chris smirk at them. She bent down to him, "you can't go telling strangers our habits."

Lucas shrugged, "he's not a stranger. He's Captain America."

She stood up as Chris laughed. He offered his hand to her too, "it was nice seeing you again Katherine."

She smirked, accepting his hand, "Christopher." That laugh. She groaned in her head. She started to walk away and remembered what shirt she was wearing. She turned back to see Chris still there, playing with his dog. She walked back up to him, "you just let me stand here talking to you this whole time in this shirt?" She looked down, pulling on her Captain America t-shirt.

Chris laughed and shrugged, "I thought it was cute." He pointed to Lucas, "you match."

Katherine groaned, blushing, "like I said, he loves Captain America. We were going to watch them all this afternoon for about the thousandth time."

Chris smirked and took a step towards her, "he's the only fan?"

His closeness made her nervous as he looked at her intensely, "no. Not the only one. We should go."

He half smiled again, "yeah. You said that."

Katherine laughed, shaking her head, "goodbye."

Katherine walked with Lucas back to their apartment building, knocking on their neighbors door. She smiled as her neighbor, Nicole opened the door and let them in. "Hey Luke. Did you enjoy walking Lucy this morning?" Lucas didn't have his own dog, so Nicole let him play with her yorkie whenever he wanted, even letting him walk her on Saturdays.

"Yeah. We met Captain America."

Katherine groaned as Nicole looked at her confused, "what does he mean?"

She plopped on her friends couch, she was about to say something but Lucas spoke up for her, "Chris. The guy that plays Captain America."

"The same guy we met at the bar a few weeks ago? I knew he looked familiar."

Katherine blushes as she hears Nicole squeal, sitting next to her, "Chris Evans? Are you kidding me?"

Katherine shook her head, "nope. He was in the dog park with what I can only assume is his dog."

Nicole nudged her shoulder, "you mean the guy that you said you wouldn't give him your number unless you met again?"

Katherine groaned, "yeah."

"And did you? Give him your number?"

She shrugged, "he didn't ask."

Nicole scoffed, "you seriously going to pass up a chance of possibly dating Captain America?"

Katherine shrugged again not knowing how to answer the question. Surely if he wanted her number he would have asked, right?
