Kate entered Lucas's room to see Chris setting up some last minute things. "I have to go get him soon." She saw him turn around, noticing the pictures on the wall above Lucas's bed. "Aww. Chris." She walked to Lucas's bed where Chris had hung a picture of Paul holding him as a baby and another picture of her and Chris next to it.

"I found the picture in one of your boxes, I hope it's okay I put it in here."

She grabbed his hand, "it's perfect. Thank you." She wrapped her arms around his neck as she felt him place his at her waist, "you've been so good about making room for us in your house."

He shook his head, "I don't want you to call it my house love. It's ours. I want you both to feel at home here. I love you Kate."

She nodded, "I love you too." She felt him lean in. Closing the distance as she felt his lips on hers. She moaned, the kiss becoming more urgent as he lifted her to him, carrying her out of the room.

He carried her to the living room, tripping over Dodger as he grunted, "going down."

She laughed as she fell back onto the couch with him on top of her. Dodger rested his front legs on the side of the couch, licking both their faces. "Kids, dogs. We can't have sex wherever we want anymore Chris."

He sighed, shooing Dodger away before resting his head on hers, "I know. At least I was near the couch and didn't drop you on the floor."

Kate laughed as she watched him sit next to her on the couch.

"You said kids. As in more than one." He watched her face as she sat up next to him.

"I might have." She turned to face him on the couch, tucking her feet under her, "that's where we're headed, right?" She laughed as he nodded enthusiastically.

"Yes! Whenever you're ready Kate."

She nodded, "I feel like I've been wasting time. I love you. Lucas loves you. I'm not getting any younger, I think if we wants kids, we should think about it sooner rather than later." She squealed as she felt him pin her back under him on the couch, "I didn't exactly mean right now. I think I should talk to Lucas about it before we decide."

He laughed, "fine. Not right now. But yes. Please Kate. Sooner rather than later."

She nodded, "this is a lot of change for Lucas already. I don't want to bombard him with too much at once. I'll talk to him, okay? I have to go. You have to get off me."

"I don't want to." He heard her squeal again as he began peppering her neck with kisses before pushing him away. He sighed, standing up, "fine." He held his hand out to her, helping her off the couch. "We can continue this conversation later."

She smirked, nodding, "as long as there's no talking." She chuckled as she heard him moan softly as she left.

Kate looked in her rear view mirror at Lucas, "did you have a good weekend?"

"Yeah mama! We went to the park and the trampoline park!"

She laughed, "that sounds like fun." She watched him look out the window.

"Where are we going?"

She smiled, "to Chris's. We spent all weekend moving our stuff from the apartment to Chris's house."

He looked back at her excitedly, "we live there now?"

She laughed, "we do. Is that okay? I know it's soon."

"No. I want to live with Chris mom."

She nodded, "okay. Good. Remember how you asked if we were having a baby?" She saw him nod as she pulled into the driveway. She turned to face him after parking, "would you want to be an older brother?"

Lucas shrugged, "I don't know."

She got out of the car, coming to his door and helped him out. She knelt in front of him, "Chris and I are thinking about having a baby. But only if you're okay with it. Remember what we said about it not meaning we love you any less?"

Lucas nodded, "okay. Can I have a brother?"

Kate laughed, "well we don't really get a choice. Would you be okay with a sister?"

He shrugged, "I guess."

She laughed, grabbing his hand to lead him inside the house.

Kate woke up to her alarm going off, the bed empty. She groaned, getting dressed quickly before going down to Lucas's room which was also empty. She found him at the kitchen table, reading and eating breakfast as Chris cooked, "you let me sleep."

Chris shrugged, "yeah. I got Lucas up and dressed." He motioned to Lucas as he kissed her on the cheek, "morning. He's eating breakfast. His backpack is ready to go. You need to eat."

She accepted the plate of food as she sat across from Lucas. "Morning Luke."

Lucas continued to read his book as he ate, "morning mom. Dad's eggs are better than yours."

She laughed as she looked up at Chris who also laughed and shrugged, "I see." She sighed, "we didn't work out the bus schedule. Nicole usually watched him after school until I got home."

Chris shook his head as he handed her some coffee before sitting next to her, "I can take him to school and pick him up. Don't worry about it. I'm not working right now. I can be a house husband."

She laughed as he smirked, eating his breakfast. She leaned towards him, lowering her voice, "does it come with other benefits?"

He chuckled, "besides breakfast?" He closed the distance, kissing her softly before going back to his breakfast, "of course it does. More of the benefits you enjoyed last night."

She leaned back, "good. Thank you for making breakfast Chris."
