We gave Lucio one last group hug, and Sabrina and I shook hands with Ana and gave her our best wishes. The latter was kind of awkward since we weren't really close with her, no matter how close we were with Lucio. Or had been.

"Thanks so much for coming. Really appreciate it," Lucio murmured.

"Can we still hang out with him sometimes?" Nick asked Ana.

She chuckled. "Sure. But not this week."

Lucio wiggled his eyebrows, and all the guys laughed. We said our goodbyes and headed to the parking lot. It was just Sabrina, Nick, Bryce, Aaron, and me since Lizzie had left already.

"I should get going now. I have to leave early tomorrow for an interview," Aaron explained.

We watched him as he walked towards his motorcycle. He waved us goodbye before driving off.

A few other guests were already leaving as well.

Sabrina and I sighed at the same time, which made the four of us laugh.

"What is that about?" Nick asked, chuckling.

"It feels surreal attending a friend's wedding," Sabrina responded. "You think we should hang out soon?"

"I'd love that," Bryce quickly answered.

"If everyone has time, why not?" I replied.

We all turned to Nick, who was removing his clip-on bow tie.

"I'm staying for about two months, so, as long as I'm still here. I'm down for it."

"Great," Sabrina beamed at us.

We all fell silent, and the awkwardness grew between the four of us. I cleared my throat, signaling Nick to speak.

"Uh, Sab, I was thinking of giving Macey a lift on the way home," Nick began.

"Sure...no problem." Sabrina nodded.

Bryce furrowed his eyebrows and squinted his eyes at Nick.

"Maybe you can give Bryce a ride so you won't be driving home alone."

Sabrina bit her lower lip and turned to look at me. I smiled at her, acting innocent like I had nothing to do with whatever Nick had just said.

"Don't you have your own car? I was assuming you gave Nick a ride today."

"My car is in a casa," Bryce answered.

"I rented a car today," Nick added.

Sabrina quickly glanced at me then back at the boys. She chuckled nervously and puffed air upwards, blowing her shaggy bangs.

"If Bryce wants to, then I'd be happy to give him a ride."

"Thanks, I guess," Bryce mumbled.

"Okay. Now all is settled. I'll talk to you tomorrow, Sab," I muttered as I gave her a tight hug.

"Oh, we will talk tomorrow, that's for sure."

Once I was seated in the passenger seat of Nick's rented car, we both watched as Sabrina's Beetle backed out of the parking spot and drove away.

Nick started the car, and I put my seatbelt on.

"You think they're gonna be okay?" I asked.

"They'll be fine as long as they can keep a conversation going."

"That won't be a problem unless Sab goes into her awkward mode."

Nick lowered down the radio's volume and began driving. The streets were almost empty of cars, but there were still a few people loitering.
