When I walked back into Stark tower everything was quiet. So I decided that I would hide in my room until it was dinner time and then I would come out and cook.
I quietly snuck into my room an closed the door. Turning, I gasped and saw Captain on the floor, his face buried in my covers. I could hear quiet sobs and I tapped him on the shoulder. "Steve?" I asked.
Suddenly his head snapped up and he turned. His eyes grew huge when he say me and he almost deafened me with his cry. "Avallone." He whispered as he pulled me into a hug. "Good to see you again too." I said, wrapping my arms around.
"You were dead." He said into my hair. I laughed nervously and said, "Yeah. I'm totally a ghost right now." He laughed and hugged me tighter. "I missed you." He whispered. "Uhh Steve. Can't breath." I choked, using the last of the air in my lungs.
He said "Oh," and let me go, sitting me on the bed. "I missed you too." I said as he sat down next to me. My heart skipped a beat and I knew that something was wrong. I looked around but nothing seemed out of place. Then I remembered that I had had the same feeling when I told him that I liked him too.
I looked down at my crossed legs, trying to hide that something was wrong. "What's wrong?" Steve asked. It didn't work. I looked up and blushed, "Nothing." He grabbed my chin and it sent a tingle down my back. Loki had done the same. Then Steve leaned in and gently kissed me on the lips. My lips tingled and I leaned into the kiss. My hand snuck around his neck and his around my waist.
This time it was more than just a peck, it was more passionate. I could feel Steve smiling into the kiss and pull me closer to him. This is wrong. My mind informed me. I pulled back and stood up. "Sorry Steve. I just died and I can't exactly sit here making out with you. I'm going to go tell the others that ya know, I'm not dead." I left before I could see his facial expression.~
I snuck into the kitchen and was relieve when there was not a soul in sight. "Jarvis, make sure no one gets in here." I said to the AI system and flicked on the element. "SPAGHETTI TIME!" I yelled.
"Intruder." Jarvis said and I whirled around expecting Tony but instead it was Loki. "What do you want?" I asked, ignoring the butterflies in my stomach. He smirked and sat down on the couch. "I came here to apologize, but also to watch you cook." I turned and stared at him, a wooden spoon in my hand. "I haven't heard an apology come out of the hole under your nose yet." I said stretching out my hand and pointing at him with the spoon. He laughed and said, "Fine, I apologize for kidnapping you and," Then he got serious, "Making you hate me." I smiled and turned to focus on my cooking.
"JAR. Play some music would ya?!" I yelled, and my play list started. Woah he had started to recognize my voice. Awesome. I sung along to Headlock by Imogen Heap as it played through the speakers above.
I heard Loki snicker from the couch and I turned to him with a smile on my face. I threw some cooked spaghetti at him and it him square in the face. I burst into laughter and he wiped it off, throwing it out the window.
I screamed and ran over to the window. I didn't stop quick enough and my foot slipped. Loki quickly grabbed my hand and I was dangling over the edge of the building. "Deja Vu much." I said, looking up. He laughed and pulled me up. "You seem to like to break things and fall through, don't you?" I laughed with him and hit him with the spoon I was still holding. He grabbed it and pulled me towards him. "Careful. Don't play with the god of mischief." He whispered into my ear before pushing a blushing me to the kitchen.
After a few minutes I turned around to say something cheeky to him but he was gone, and my heart sank a little bit."Jarvis, tell everyone that dinner is ready, but don't tell them who made it." I told him, setting up the lounge for dinner. "Looks great." Loki said, walking towards me. I laughed. "You don't get any."
He pouted and sat down the couch, his arms folded. I laughed again and said, "I was kidding. You can have some if you want." He looked at his fingers and said nonchalantly, "What if I don't desire any of your human food?" I fake gasped and my hand flew to my throat. "You wouldn't dare."
"Oh, but I would." He said, appearing inches away from my face. Suddenly the door opened and in walked everyone. I heard gasps and I stumbled backwards.
"AVALLONE!" Tony yelled, over to me and enveloping me in a hug. I laughed and hugged him back. "Do I have to talk with Loki as well?" He whispered into my ear. I shrieked and pushed him away from me.
I stole a quick look at Loki and saw that he was smirking. I blushed and looked at my feet.
The others quickly hugged me and said they were so glad to see me. Finally Captain walked up to me and instead of hugging me he grabbed my chin and kissed me in front of everyone.
I blushed madly when he pulled away and turned to the others and said, "Right. Dinner time!"
