For the last time ever, I turned the lock and put the key in my pocket. Smiling, I turned to Fury and nodded my head.
Our footsteps were synchronized as we walked to the black car parked down the street. Director Fury was carrying two of my three suitcases; I had the other.
I was finally leaving the diner to permanently move into Stark tower! The excitement bubbled up inside me and I squealed. Fury looked at me weirdly, but decided it wasn't important enough to inquire after.
We reached the car and he shoved my suitcases into the boot. I took my seat in the passemger's seat, and Fury took the driver's seat. He turned the key in the ignition and we roared off to the tower.

Shouts filled my ears as I walked into the lounge. I could not help but grin like an idiot as everyone hugged me and said something about being so happy that I was back.
"Hey! No crowding! She is mine, tonight." Natasha said, pushing everyone away from me. I smiled and nodded. "But, she just got back!" Tony started to argue but Nat shot him daggers, and he shut up.
She grabbed my wrist and we walked out of the room together. "I heard that there has been some interest in you." She said, giving me a slight wink. I laughed and asked, "Who said that?"
"Bruce." She replied.
"Oh. Well, it might be true, but I haven't really noticed it." I said, trying my best to lie to her.
"You are a horrible liar. You'll have to get better, considering that one day you'll be going on missions." She said, casually.
My breath caught in my throat, and I had to force it out. "What?! Missions?!"
Natasha nodded, and looked at me strangely, "Yeah. You are an agent, and agents go on missions."
"I never really thought about that." I said, scratching the back of my head.
She laughed and opened the door to her room. I gasped as we walked in. It was just so.... Natasha. There was weapons everywhere, and even a mini training corner. Two of the walls were black, and the others were a light-ish grey, giving a dark and ominous look to the room.
"Like it?" She asked, walking over to the kitchen part and started pouring some champagne. I nodded and took the glass she held out to me. "I don't think I have ever had champagne before. The first time I had actually heard of it was when I watched 'The Fault In Our Stars'." Nat chuckled and sat down on a black couch. "That's bad."
I nodded and sat down. "I know. My friends were always teasing me about stuff like that." She chuckled again. "I guess I'm a blonde at heart, despite having brown hair."
Natasha laughed, throwing her head back. "I missed you so much." I smiled and playfully punched her arm, "I missed ya too."

"It was so great seeing you again, Avallone. I can't wait to finally settle back into the tower." Nat said, leaning on my door from. "Yeah, woohoo, training!" We both started chuckling and she waved before closing my door.
I sighed and collapsed onto my bed, happy. Looking around, I realized how much I had missed the place. Just like when I had gone back to the diner. But this was different. It was my home now.
I kicked my legs and squealed quietly. I am home.

I woke up with the morning sun hitting my face. I smiled and almost jumped out of bed. Woah, I am not normally like this in the morning. I grabbed the bedside table and took a few calming breaths.
Okay, let's try this again.
Walking slowly and calmly over to my closet, I picked out a simple, yet sexy outfit. I smiled to myself as I checked out how I looked in the mirror.
Satisfied with my outfit and calmness, I entered the lounge.
"Avallone, you look....." Steve was at loss for words. I laughed and flopped my hand, a signal that it didn't really matter. He smiled and blushed. "Nice to see you too, Cap." I said, with a wink. He blushed again.
"What? No, 'TONY!!'?" Stark said from behind me. I whirled and screamed, "METAL HEAD!" Before hugging him. He laughed and squeezed me until my sides urt.
"Tony, don't hurt her. It's great to see you Avallone." Pepper said to me, after scolding Tony. I smiled and hugged her tight.
"LADY AVALLONE!" Thor yelled, coming into the scene. He enveloped me in a bone crushing hug. "Ow." I managed to squeak out, making him realize that his hug was a little too tight. He let go and mumbled, "Sorry, m'lady."
"Long time, no see." Bruce greeted me. I laughed and hugged him quickly.
Suddenly the room fell silent and I turned to see Loki standing in the doorway. Smirking, I walked over to him and punched him in the arm, a little harder than needed.
He started to chuckle and soon the whole room was filled with excited chatter.
"I have something to ask of you." Loki whispered into my ear. I looked at him, my eyebrows raised. "No, I just got back. It can wait." I said. He looked a bit shocked at first but then nodded his head. Did he just submit?
I pushed the thought aside, and enjoyed the thought of being home.
