Avallone's P.O.V.
I opened my eyes, expecting to be splattered onto the pavement right now. I was hovering nearly two meters from the ground. I looked up and saw that Loki had caught me.
"The fudge?" I screamed at him. He laughed nervously and set me gently on the ground. I pushed him away from me and collapsed onto the ground. "I'm going back!" I yelled, drawing yet even more attention to us. The fact that he suddenly appeared out of the blue and caught a girl falling from Stark tower and now she was yelling at him seemed to draw their attention.
"No. I have some business to deal with. And you are a part of it." He said, grabbing my hand I screamed and punched him in the face. "I would rather not go with you. As I said before. I HATE YOU!" He straightened out his jaw and whispered into my ear, "Goodnight."
Suddenly everything went black.I woke up, lying on a path. "THE FUDGE?!" I screamed, getting up. Of all the weird places I have woken up, this has got to be by far the weirdest. Remembering that Loki had practically kidnapped me I checked that I was fully clothed and breathed a sigh of relief. This guy was an absolute creeper, and you never knew what to expect.
"Ah, you are awake." He said, walking down the path. I screamed again and ran away from him. Suddenly he appeared in front of me and I reacted too slow, running straight into him. "Now, no more fighting me." He said.
I looked at him straight in the face and said, "I hate you." He glared at me and then grabbed my wrist, dragging me along. "OW!" I screamed, making sure he knew he was hurting me,
We passed a couple and I gulped, realizing they weren't moving. "Uhh." I said, quickening my steps so I was parallel to him. He turned and looked at me, "What?" We kept walking and his gaze was riveted on my face. All of a sudden we stopped because he had walked into a tree. I burst into laughter and he twisted my arm so that it was behind my back.
His face was inches from mine and I could feel his cold breath hitting my face. I froze, unsure of what to do. "You'll shut up or you will never see your precious Captain again." He said, reading my thoughts.
I stuttered on a reply and he let go of my arm and picked me up bridal-style. I screamed and clutched his chest, which was probably not the best thing to do considering I was screaming because of him.
"You're a monster." I whispered as he carried me. He nodded and said "I know." Then he set me down and grabbed my hand before I could do anything.
I froze on the spot. He had taken me to the bridge. I turned to him. He looked at me and said, "This is the perfect place to discuss our unfinished 'business'." I glared at him. "I have no business with you," I spat at him. His facial expression flickered but he dragged me onto the bridge and handcuffed me to the railing.
I looked down and saw what the handcuff was made of. Ice. I looked up at him and he had smirk on his face. I wiped it clean off his face with a powerful slap. "You should've handcuffed both my hands." I hissed at him.
He shook his head, holding his cheek. "I think that you may need your other hand." He said. I stared at him, wondering what he was going to do to me. "What do you want from me?" I screamed at him. Suddenly the Adam Lambert song popped up in my head and I screamed in anger.
"Why do you hate me?" He said, leaning over the railing and looking over the river. I gasped, that was not the question I was expecting. "Why would it matter to you baby face?" I asked him.
He turned and looked at me, the weird expression back in his eyes. "I will tell you once you tell me why you hate me." I stared at him, "A deal? Seriously?" He nodded and I hissed, "Fine."
"The night that I cut myself," He flinched but I continued, "was also the night that you went deep into my thoughts and memories. That was the last straw. I had trusted you as a friend, but what you did made me hate you."
He looked at me sadly before looking out over the still water again. "I'm sorry." I laughed bitterly. "You think 'sorry' is going to fix this? Think again. And anyway I told you, now answer my question."
"Because you mean something to me." He said before uncuffing me and walking away. I felt the anger boil up inside me and I ran after him. "You can not just say that and then walk away!" I grabbed his shoulder and whirled him around.
"I shall do what I want to do." He spat at me and kept walking. But I still had my hand on his shoulder and I squeezed as tight as I could. He didn't flinch but just brushed it off. "Go back to the tower." He said over his shoulder.
I stood there, on the path, frozen and unable to move. He turned and stared at me. "Go. NOW!" He yelled before disappearing around a corner.
