Everyone had finally arrived back to Elisha and Julian's house, and were eagerly waiting to start Bridget's birthday celebration. However, they also were getting a tad bit nervous about tonight..
Tonight was in fact the night to get Bridget away from Ryan...Bee's family was always there for her, no doubt about that. They just couldn't get her to leave Ryan, and they all did feel guilty it had taken them so long to finally come up with a plan to get Bridget the hell out of there...
Bridget's family was all still shaken up from everything that had taken place today. Bridget was the one having the hardest time recollecting herself. Her mind still spun with emotions that brought her back to when Layla had passed.
One thing did help Bridget actually get back to reality was seeing her beautiful baby niece that had grown so much since the last time she had seen her. Bridget was quite surprised by how different she looks, but it had been eight months... Baby Bee was a bit taller, her beautiful blonde hair had turned into more of a peachy color, and she had thicker and curlier hair. Bridget was absolutely thrilled to see her niece again but she was a little nervous Beeatrice wouldn't remember her..
"Hi, my little sweet Bee." Bridget faintly called to her niece, that was just waking up from a small nap.
Beeatrice whipped her head up really fast, hearing her auntie's voice. Beeatrice's bright blue eyes widened hearing Bridget's voice.
"Aunthie." Beeatrice called out with her cute little lisp. Bridget came over and gave her sweet little niece a small kiss on her cheek, and Beeatrice immediately gave her auntie a big smooch on the lips.
"Love you, Aunthie." Bridget almost cried from hearing those sweet little words.
Bridget picked little Bee up in her arms and went out on the front porch, sitting down on the porch swing with her niece on top of her lap.
Blake had come around the corner of the porch to see his sister and niece looking so happy. Blake was beaming a bright smile at his favorite girls, besides his mother, of course. Blake just leaned against the house and watched them be so happy, which made Blake happy. He knew this is just what Bridget needed.. Some happy family time to get out of the worrisome state she's usually always in now.
"Higher, Aunthie, higher!" Tiny Bee, bellowed with animation in her small, kind voice.
Bridget stuck her long legs to the very back of the ground, behind the swing and gave a good, hard, push -- flinging them higher up. Well, as high as a porch swing can go.
"Wee!!" Tiny Bee screamed in joy, with both of her arms up in the air.
"Hey girls, how's the birthday girl doing?" Elisha peeked her head out of the door, seeing Bridget and Beeatrice on the porch swing.
"Good. Thanks, mom. Can I help you with anything?" Bridget asked her mom, while she got up off the swing, with Beeatrice up in her arms.
"No, no. I have it all handled.. Relax and have fun, that's how you can help me." Elisha smiled at her daughter.
"Thank you mom." Bee replied, as Beeatrice wiggled out of Bridget's arms, and she set her down on the porch. Baby Bee waddled to the back of the porch to go play with her dad and brother in the back yard.
"She was so excited to see you, Bee." Elisha said.
"I was excited to see her.. Wow, she's getting so big... I can't believe how time has gone by so.... quickly." Bridget spoke slowly and softly.
"Time does go by quickly, Bee.. It feels like it was just yesterday when you were Beeatrice's age... Gosh, she looks so much like you did." Elisha stood there talking as she was reminiscing when Bridget was two and a half.
