Bridget and Robert had been walking through the Earth room, strolling down one path to another as they both made small talk, unsure what exactly to discuss. Even though it was just random thoughts they would converse about they both were still so grateful to have each others company.
Bee and Robert were side by side discovering the depths of the room. The path they were on now was almost overgrown by bushes, trees, and plants, but there is still a small trail big enough for two people to walk side by side. They left small footprints in the grains of sand on the path while they walked upon the trail.
Beyond the trail all the eye could see was more and more of the path that curved like the shape of an S and zig zagged around bushes and trees. Each bush was filled with brightly colored flowers that were fully bloomed and blossomed, and a small meadow behind all the bushes left a faint trickling sound of water that streamed over small rocks in the creek. The sky hovered above Robert and Bee. Bridget hadn't even thought of looking up above her head because there was so much to stare at and take in on the path. However, once Bee would gaze above her she would see the crystal clear light blue sky and the glimmer of the sun that was there in this room. Besides this room, all the others had no beautiful blue skies. There were no bright blue skies, only big puffy clouds that swirled around up above the other rooms. Occasionally there would be rain storms in the water room, but not often. Only on special occasions; when someone would leave the middle, healed and more enlightened than when they had arrived. Only special, special moments in The Middle, would a rain storm begin, and a gentle hint of the moon beyond the clouds would beam. On unfortunate events, lighting would crackle, jolting the biggest tree in the Earth room, while the thunder would shudder and pound through the sky.
A lot of things happen in The Middle that not many are aware of, only Morwin knows exactly what can happen, but even Morwin becomes surprised from time to time when, he himself, learns and sees new things that happen in here from time to time, and it always excites him too. It's a magical place, full of wonders...
"So... What exactly happened to you? If you don't mind me asking.." Robert had finally decided to ask Bridget, as they got deeper and deeper into the majestic forest.
"Well like I mentioned, I guess I fell and hit my head." Bridget lied. She didn't want Robert to know that her boyfriend supposedly pushed her back on the tile of her own kitchen. Bridget was embarrassed to say she was in such a relationship like that.
"How did that..." Robert had stopped speaking, shaking his head slowly. Unable to finish his sentence after glancing down at Bee's face that was beginning to have sorrow fill her eyes.
Robert didn't want to have that effect on Bridget, so he felt he should change the subject."Wait... Never mind. Actually, let's not talk about how we got here. That's just... Well, it's depressing. Let's talk about something happy!" Robert declared with enthusiasm.
Bridget couldn't figure out why this man is always so energetic and excited. She almost envied his love for the world, even at hard times. That's how Bee use to be and she just can't figure out how she once was like that.
"Hm... Like what?" Bridget asked.
"What's the first thing that pops up in your mind when I say the word 'happy'?" Robert asked.
Even though they were both walking down a glorious trail, having no idea where they were heading. Robert and Bee only gazed at each other. Not even caring where they were even walking to.
"Uh -"
"You can't hesitate! Just say a word. I know something had to of popped into that brain when I said 'happy'." Robert chuckled, pointing his index finger to Bridget's temple.
