It was a warm summers night and I was sitting on a fence in my most favourite place in the world. The Shoetopian glaze field. Every afternoon I would come here and sit either alone or with my close friend scarlet. I loved how the trains went past and blew my hair back or when the wind blew and I could smell the fresh fragrance of the flowers close by. For Me it was a beautiful peaceful place and some where where I could take a breath and forget about all things for a little while.
Just when I was eight my mother was murdered and my father had left after when that happened and never returned. now all that I had left was my grandmother. My 16th birthday was coming up in a couple of days and my friend scarlet had brought me an early birthday present because she would be away on my birthday. She brought me a beautiful necklace with a real gold symbol of a dancing shoe as She knows that I love shoes and enjoy dancing.
I looked up at the sky and realised that it was getting late. So I started to walk home.
Later on that night after dinner I went to Feed my dog Pugsley and then went to bed.
The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm! I checked the time and realise that it was only 5am.so I decided to go downstairs , and start writing a list on things that I would like for my birthday such as a new pair of shoes and new dress.
Than I looked down at my chest and saw the ballet shoe neck lace. I took a deep breath. I wished that my best friend scarlet could be here for my birthday but I new that she couldn't.
About an hour later my grand mother woke up. "Good morning darling "she said. "Good morning grandma" I said with a sigh. "How'd you sleep Analea". I didn't reply just stared out of the window. "Well"my grandmother said "I brought you an early birthday present! really I thought another early preset I won't have any to open on my actual birthday. Though I was very grateful that grandmother had brought me a present even though we were running low on money that year. "Thank you grandma for the gift". I Said. That's okay I hope that you like it Annie ( what analea got called for short)
But I Was surprised there was no wrapping paper or a ribbon or even a box with a gift in it. It was just a big card. I would of thought that grandmother would of had brought a dress or something like she always does.
I looked up,my grandmother was staring at me obviously waiting for me to open her gift.
I opened the card and pulled out two tickets.
It took me honestly about a minute but than I released that they were!
