Chapter 13 Scarlets POV

Me and Analea gave each other a cheeky, happy, look.

We started running up to the big tree near shoetopian glaze field. We loved climbing it and just being near it.

We started climbing the tree higher and higher, until we were so high that we could see all the houses in the town and all the other smaller trees.

Suddenly Analea started moving away from me, to the other side of the tree. "what's wrong?" I asked as I tried moving closer to her. But I couldn't get any closer. Something was holding me back.

Her eyes went wide and she started moving even further away. "is there a huge spider on me?" I giggled while I dusted off my shoulders.

She shook her head and moved even further away. Now she was so far away that she was almost about to fall out of the tree.

"Analea seriously, are you okay?" She gulped and took one last push backwards and than her small body dropped!

"Analea!" I screamed! I moved myself to the end of the tree and looked down, but she wasn't there.

"Analea!" I screamed again but this time tears were storming down my face.

Suddenly I herd footsteps. I looked all around the tree and on the grass but there was no one there. than I herd them again, I looked around but nobody was there.

Than I herd a soft voice. "scarlet" it said softly so I could just hear it. "who's there!" I screamed with tears continuously rolling down my face!

"Scarlet" I herd again but this time louder. All I could hear was footsteps surrounding me.

Again I looked down but Analea was nowhere!

"Scarlet" I herd again, louder than the last time.

"Scarlet"

I opened my eyes and looked up. Haley was standing over me, shaking me awake.

I pushed myself up and stretched my arms out. "good morning" I said as I got out of bed and went over to my table.

"Come on what are you waiting for let's go now"

"Go where?" I asked with a questioning look on my face.

"Um to the police station. "You get dressed and I'll be waiting in my car." she said before opening my door, walking out of the room and closing it again.

I took a breath and sat down on my bed. Suddenly I thought of my dream. who's voice was that calling out my name?

I shook my head and got dressed. I put on a pair of white shorts and a light blue see -through singlet top.

Just as I was finishing off doing my makeup, I herd a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" I asked impatiently. "It's me" I herd my mothers voice say.

"Okay..... come in" I said as I applied the last Layer of makeup on.

My mum walked in. "Honey, me and your father are going to go looking for Analea today as we do everyday, and I want you to go with Haley to the police station. once you finish there come back home, grab a few snacks, and come help search. also if you want, ask Haley to help us. We need all the help we can get."

"Yeah I will mum thanks" I said with a sigh.

"Honey are you okay?" My mum asked as she sat on my bed.
