Chapter 15 Analeas POV

"Steph, Analea, I need to say something" kelly said softly.

Stephane came closer to me and kelly, and sat down. "What's up are you okay?"

Kelly shook her head. "No but there's something I want to talk to you two about."

Kelly spoke softly but enough for us to be able to hear.

"Especially you Steph" kelly said as she turned her eyes to look directly at Stephane.

Stephane slowly nodded and put some fake, kind of, concerned, look on her face. "Wh-what's wro- wrong?"

"Stephane I know you never wanted me to bring it up, but I have to".

"What! Oh no kelly come on yo-you can't" Stephane scrambled on her words.

"Stop it Steph, you and me both know that Analea has the compleat right to know about it." Kelly says a bit louder this time.

Stephane shakes her head. "No kelly, she doesn't."

"Well you know what Stephane, if you don't want to tell her, at least let me!"

"Kelly look I don't mean to sound rude but don't you think you are being a little bit selfish, I mean it's my secret, not yours" Stephane said trying to speak calmly.

I didn't know if they were actually going to tell me whatever this secret was or make some sort of deal not to tell me.

"Look Steph I......!" Suddenly Kelly started coughing.

Stephane ran to the bathroom and got some water. Kelly continued coughing and than suddenly looked up at me. "Analea, I can't breathe!" I can't f****** breathe!"

I didn't know what to do, I had never been in a position like this before. "um just try and take deep breaths in and out!" I said in a panic. I herd kelly trying to control her breathing but she couldn't.

Stephane ran back in the room with a cup of water and quickly handed it to Kelly. Kelly tried to sip at the water but didn't sip at very much before she turned to face Stephane.

"Steph!" She said in a soft, raggered, voice. "please can you tell Analea the truth."

"Why the f*** do you care so much?" Stephane shot back.

"Stephane, you don't understand! Analea has a right to know! It may be your secret but it involves Analea as well! tell her Stephane just tell her!"

I was starting to tense up. Her words were so demanding but I think that Stephane was in a worse position than me.

"Please Steph, please" Kelly's words began to become so soft that even me and Stephane could hardly hear it.

Stephane stared down at kelly with wide eyes.

Suddenly Kelly's eyes began to shut. Her speedy breathing began to slowly stop, and her hand flopped by her side.

"NO!" Stephane said as she dropped down to kelly and started shaking her. "NO, please!" She said as she continued shaking and trying to wake kelly up.

Tears were starting to fall from Stephane's eyes as she started giving mouth to mouth resuscitation to kelly. she turned and looked up at me. "Analea, sh- she's gone." she said slowly.

I opened my mouth to say something but no words would come out.

Stephane fell to her knees. "why kelly, she was like my best friend and she's gone!" I didn't know if Stephane was talking to herself or to me but either way, I felt real sorry for her.

I walked over to Stephane. all I could think to do was sit next to her and try to comfort her. even though Stephane isn't exactly my favourite person, this would be something that would be pretty tough on her. I mean she must have known kelly for at least 5 months.

Stephane turned to look at me. "How did this happen to her, I mean I knew that she was sick but I had no idea that she was that sick.

"I-I know." I slowly stated. That was all that I could think to say.

Was Stephane actually going to tell me about what kelly wanted her too? I thought to myself.

I stood up and walked over to where Kelly's lifeless body was laying.

"He's coming!" Stephane whispered fiercely. I held my breath and stood up against the wall, like I always do when he comes down here.

He slams the door open and walks in. he goes to say something but than he suddenly looks down at Kelly's body and grins.

"Why did this happen to her?" Stephane says as she shakes her head. Shane looks up from kelly and walks over to Stephane. "what did you just say?" He demands!

"I said, why did this happen to her?" Stephane repeated. I just had no idea how Stephane never crumbled when he shouted at her, and she even had the courage to talk back.

"Why are you being so rude Stephane?" Shane asked as he took a couple of Steps closer.

Stephane shook her head. "I'm not the one being rude!" She snapped at him.

He put a mean look on his face and went to say something but stopped. he walked away from Stephane and over to the door. "I'm going on a field trip in two days! I'll be there for a couple days, so you two brats don't try and escape! You understand!"

I saw Stephane nodding so I did the same. With that he walked out of the door mumbling to himself, like he always does.

But it wasn't like I was going to actually listen to him. if he was gone than I was going to try and escape. But why would he be telling us this, I thought to myself? was he going to test us or something?like stay here and wait until we try to escape and than kill us or something?

I turned to look at Stephane who was slipping down the wall cupping her chest. "why?" She whined. "why?"
