I stepped on the cool pavement and took a loud deep breath. This is where he dragged me in to that awful room!

I closed my eyes and slowly and carefully walked up to the house which I assumed was his.

Of course the door would be locked but I felt that luck had suddenly hit my way. As I walked up to the old screen door, I saw that the mesh was broken. And as for the other door (the wooden one behind the mesh one), it looked like all I needed was a screwdriver.

I ran to what I thought was a shed and found a couple of screwdrivers. I started walking out when I turned around again and saw a baseball bat. I decided that since I had absolutely no idea what I was about to face should probably take it. And with that I ran out, holding my baseball bat and a few screwdrivers.

I pushed my clumsy fingers through the mesh and tugged at the lock. After a couple of seconds I got it to budge open and I slowly pulled the door my way.

Next I got the rusted screwdriver and stabbed it into the key hole. The first one had no chance of working but the second one seemed to just do the trick.

I carefully opened it and it slammed behind me. I flinched at the loud noise and looked around in the dark house. It was a two story house with red and white tiles covering the ground and a small, but shining chandelier on the plain white roof.

The reason I wasn't just escaping was because I needed to get something, anything that can get him locked up. I also felt bad leaving Stephane all alone, although she wasn't my best friend, she had a right to get out of this place just as much as I did.

I walked up some stairs and into what I'm guessing was his room.

It was huge. It had a queen size bed with a floral quilt and a cupboard so big it could fit a horse.

I walked closer to it and on the step of the cupboard was my phone! I turned it on it was only 23%.

I continued looking for a few minutes. I opened the top drawer next to the bed and peeked inside.

On top was a photo. I couldn't really see so I opened the drawer further and took a close look at the photo. It looked like. Shane. And I'm guessing his girlfriend or wife.

They were standing next to each other smiling in front of a water fountain.

I turned the photo over and on the back it said.

'Shane & Chantelle'
2014

As I went to place the photo back I saw another photo. Expect he wasn't  with the same girl.

I looked close at the photo but it looked nothing like Chantelle. The woman had long light brown hair and looked like she was pregnant.

I slowly turned the photo around and on the back it said.

Katie and Shane
1999
Expecting Analea in a few weeks:)

I read the last line over and over again. I don't know what shocked me the most, the fact that Katie was my mothers name or that that was the year I was born and my name was printed clearly on the photo.

Suddenly I herd the door slam open and a girl cry out in pain.

"Where is she! How did she escape!"

"I don't know!"stammered the girl.

I had to get out of here.

I ran to the stairs and peeked around the wall. The girl looked like Chantelle. They were both walking to the kitchen, this was my chance to get out of here.

I clunged the baseball bat in my hands so hard, my knuckles were turning white.

"Don't worry maybe she was um, hiding or something!" Chantelle said hopefully.

"Chantelle! Are you crazy! I checked everywhere in there even Stephane would have new if she was hiding!"

I ran to the door and slowly opened it. I made my way out and slowly closed it half way.

If I tried to help Stephane she would most likely tell him so I decided to just go to the police first.

It was still dark outside so I had no idea where I was going, but I didn't care I was going to be free! I could go home, Alive.

I continued running in the darkness. Once I was far enough I took my phone out of my pocket and called 000. After the police picked up I told them my incident and after at least 20 minutes I herd sirens. A smile spread across my face.
