well it's been a year now, gracie is now a year old and mattia and i are both taking college courses. this past year has been a good yet scary, sad and crazy year. i learned how to forgive and move on, yeah i know what devin did to me was completely horrible but i've been told
"you have to forgive these people."
and i did! look at me now..i have a good group of people by my side, i have an amazing daughter and fiancé. yes, i just said fiance! mattia purposed to me not to long ago. i said yes of course. this kid makes me happy, he made me realize that maybe loving someone isn't a bad thing after all, he opened up my eyes for the better.
gracie is now walking and talking! her first word was mama. i was shocked, a lot of babies intend to say dada first because the word is a little bit easier. she is a healthy baby and is loved by many many people, including mattia and i.
even though my parents never came back, i still hope that they're safe somewhere and someday they will get to meet gracie and see how wonderful she is.
