"What are we going to do Eloise?!" I cried panicking. "We could stay in a hotel for a couple nights until we feel safe again" Eloise suggested now walking to her room with the intention of packing most of her things.

I agreed to the idea and started to gather my things in my suitcase, I then waited on the sofa for Eloise to finish and I watched 'squid game' on Netflix. "I'm packed!" I heard from Eloise's room. I put my black north face puffer jacket on over my hoodie and I made my way into the lobby with Eloise and our bags to my side.

We got into Eloises car and after 25 minutes we were at our new temporary home. Eloise booked a very expensive hotel, but it had really high security so that was good. "Can we go to the supermarket? I need some food or I am going to literally starve to death" Eloise spoke breaking the tense silence between us. "Yeah same I'm really craving popcorn actually" Locking our room we walked past the long row of identical door to find the entrance. I was a little nervous because we were only 25 minutes away from the joker and we were still in Gotham, yes the outskirts but we were still in the home of the clown prince of crime.

We were at Walmart and i nervously stepped into the shop, the cool breeze from inside the building soon met me.
"I'll get the popcorn and my dinner and you can get whatever you want, meet back at the car in 15 minutes?" Eloise said picking up a metal shopping basket.
"Yup sounds good" I replied now trailing off into the land of chocolate and beans. (Idk I just thought of I lmao 😭)

Trying to think of what to buy a tall husky man brushed past me. Not thinking anything of it I just sighed and carried on walking, footsteps became louder as I walked down the aisle. Out of nowhere a familiar yet startling voice spoke..
"Hey doll face. Have a nice time last night?" I turned round to see a green haired man with a long purple jacket with dress pants on grinning evilly, his emerald pupils pierced into mine as we made deadly eye contact. In that moment I had no idea what to do. Do I run? What if he catches me? Am I going to die? Why would he put in so much effort just to kill a random girl? My overpowering thoughts flooded my mind and I didn't notice the tall figure  getting closer and closer.

"What do u want with me?" I struggled a whisper, if he doesn't want to kill me he definitely has sexual desires. I backed away the more chilling steps he took towards me.
"In about 30 seconds my henchmen are going to burst in her and rob this store. You have two choices, either come with me.. or die. Your choice doll" the joker said evilly. I could feel his cold breath on my face as he spoke confidently. I honestly give up, I was about to give in when I remembered Eloise SHIT!! Maybe if I persuaded him then she will be safe.
"I- i will come with you if you make sure my best friend is safe and she doesn't get hurt" I say immediately regretting my words.
"Oh darling I'm glad you are co operating. Clearly you know what's good for you" He says chuckling to himself, knowing he had won.

30 seconds later as the joker predicted, his buff henchmen stormed through the big glass doors, smashing them. From where I was standing I could see the doors and I glanced at where Eloise was being dragged out of the store by a man in a panda suit. I assumed he worked for the joker. "Your little friend is safe doll now for my part of the deal" he winked at me mysteriously and picked up my skinny figure like it was nothing. I'm definitely going to die.
