Dean walks into one of the buildings they had put Hermione in. Both Sam and Dean didn't have the strength to bury her. Sam was sitting next to her with red eyes and streaks of tears running down his face. Dean puts his hand on Sam's shoulder. Sam is too tired to react to this.

'Sam...Bobby got some food,' Sam doesn't respond, keeping his eyes on Hermione. 'I'll watch Hermione, you get some food or drink,'

'No I have to stay here,' Sam responds with a broken voice.

'No, you need some food and sleep. I'll watch over,' Sam still doesn't move. 'I won't bury her,'

Sam looks up with watery eyes. Dean moves towards his brother and pulls him into a hug. Sam lets his tears fall down Dean's shirt. 'I don't know what to do Dean,'

'You go to Bobby and drink something please,' Sam looks at Dean and nods. He leaves him behind with Hermione. Dean walks over towards Hermione and strokes her hair. He sits down on the chair that was standing next to the table. Dean looks at her. He notices her wand laying next to her. 'Remember when you said to me that...that you felt helpless when you couldn't help us with your magic,' Dean sighs. 'Yeah I understand that feeling now,' Dean looks down. 'You know, I read the book about your school. Most importantly the part about you. I knew a couple stories but I never knew what you went through. And then when we stayed at the motel and you fell asleep on my shoulder, I...I realised that you got dragged back into a mess of a world. I just wanted to protect you...Just to make the world a bit better for you. I always tried to protect you...Keep you safe. I...I got one job. And that—it was to keep you and Sam safe and I couldn't even do that,' Dean looks back up. 'I'm sorry,' He confesses. 'I'm the one that dragged you into all of this,' Dean tries to swallow the lump in his throat. 'Damn I'm even the one that got you killed,' A tear falls down from his eye, he quickly wipes it away when he hears someone. Sam enters the building looking upset.

'I can't believe Bobby,' Sam says to Dean.

Dean clears his throat and moves to Sam. 'What did he do?'

'He said that we should bury Hermione and come with him to fight this end of the world thing,'

'Sam look I know it's hard but maybe Bobby is—'

'No! Not you too. I thought you were with me on this,'

'Sam I understand it's hard but...'

'No Dean you don't understand. I had dreams about Hermione burning on the ceiling and it never happened so I had hope. Hope that maybe...maybe I wouldn't lose her. After I lost Jessica, Hermione was all I had left. She was my rock,' Sam wipes away a tear. Dean looks over towards his brother. 'Please don't give up on her. She never gave up on you,'

'Sam...'

'Could you please leave me alone with her,'

'Sure. I'll be here,' Sam nods as he takes place next to Hermione. Dean takes one look at his brother before leaving the room.

The Impala engine is revving. Headlights turn on as Dean drives recklessly, looking pale and determined. He stops on a dirt road and inserts several items into a box, including a photo ID of himself. He buries the box in the middle of a crossroads and stands. Several seconds pass in silence, as Dean looks right and left.

'Oh come on already. Show your face, you bitch!' Dean shouts.

Suddenly a beautiful woman in a black dress appears. 'Easy sugar, you'll wake the neighbors,' She flashes red eyes for a moment. 'Dean. It is so, so good to see you,' She inhales sharply. 'I mean it. Look at you. Gone and got your family killed. All alone in the world. It's too sweet. Excuse me, you're gonna have to give me a moment,' She walks to Dean. 'Sometimes you gotta stop and smell the roses,'
