Hermione and Dean are standing outside a gas station waiting for Sam who was in the bathroom. Hermione leans against the car while Dean stands next to her.
'I swear he's like a girl when he's in the bathroom,' Dean points out. Hermione looks confused at Dean. Not sure if she should respond to the girl part.
'It's the hair,' Hermione responds joining Dean in his joke. Dean laughs and pushes himself off the car.
'All right, I'm going to check up on Samantha this takes too long,' Hermione laughs and Dean walks away towards the bathroom. Hermione leans back against the car, still chuckling. Hermione likes these kinds of moments just joking around, not having to fear for their lives. But that would cut short when she notices Sam and Dean rushing towards the car. Sam looks like he just saw a dead body.
'What's going on?' Hermione asks.
'Get in the car,' The joking Dean was gone. He had put on his game face. Hermione knew not to ask questions and gets in the car.
Dean is driving the Impala with Sam in the passenger seat. The boys didn't tell Hermione what happened in the bathroom, so she had crossed her arms and looked out of the window.
'Rocking Nebraska. Your source for the classics, all night long,' the radio announcer announce.
'I don't know, man, why don't we just chill out, think about this,' Dean tells Sam. Sam shuts off the radio.
'What's there to think about?'
'I just don't know if going to the Roadhouse is the smartest idea,' Hermione looks at Dean. So that's where they are going.
'Dean, it's another premonition. I know it. This is gonna happen, and Ash can tell us where,' So that's why they didn't say anything to her. Dean didn't want Hermione to freak out again over Sam's premonition. The last time was with the demon, she just hoped that it wasn't another person who was like Sam.
'Yeah, man, but...'
'Plus it could have some connection with the demon. My visions always do,'
'That's my point. There's gonna be hunters there. I don't know if, if, if going in and announcing that you're some supernatural freak with a, a demonic connection is the best thing, okay? I mean bringing Hermione in there was a risk. I don't want to risk two people....'
'So, I'm a freak now?' Sam cuts in. Dean slaps Sam on the thigh.
'You've always been a freak,' Dean smiles weakly and turns back to the road.
Sam, Dean and Hermione enter the Roadhouse. As they walk further into the bar they pas two men at a table cleaning weapons. Dean slows down his pace so he's shielding Hermione from the two hunters. As he kept his eyes on the hunters he almost runs into Jo. Who stops and smiles at him.
'Just can't stay away, huh?' She asks towards Dean.
'Yeah, looks like. How you doing, Jo?'
'Where's Ash?' Sam asks hurried.
'In his backroom,'
'Great,' Sam brushes past her towards the back room. Jo looks after him.
'And I'm fine...'
'Sorry, he's, we're...kind of on a bit of a timetable,' Dean explains. Sam and Dean walk towards the back room but Hermione stops at the bar. Ellen spots her and Hermione gives her a look. Ellen knows what to do and hands her a glass of whiskey. Hermione takes it and drinks it in one gulp.
'Rough night?' Ellen asks taking the glass back.
'You have no idea,' Ellen wants to poor in another glass but Hermione stops her. 'I just needed a quick drink,'
