Chapter 10: Between Arguments, Trials, and Courts (Part 2)

Pepper Potts was always known to be a great lawyer, but when she became CEO of Stark Industries and began a relationship with Tony Stark, her fame increased exponentially.

Many people had divided opinions about her job, as many people believed that she was only hung on the fame of her fiancé, but those who have known her for a long time could assure the opposite.

There were also comments about how bad her relationship was with Tony Stark, but despite the times that she herself question the stability in her relationship, she was very happy to see Tony's loving and caring phase.

Pepper was preparing for an important meeting with Japanese allies from Stark Industries, when her cell phone began to vibrate. She didnt really think to answer, but when she recognized the number, she didnt even hesitate to press the button.

"Hello there, its Pepper speaking."

"Nat, what's wrong? You sound stressed, dear."

Pepper wasn't expecting a call from Natasha on a Friday night, and worse still, the Widow sounded sad and stressed. While she twisted her mind in search of a reasonable explanation, Nat gave it to her.

Bruce and Tony are afraid of her, so while we took care of them and we were helping her brother in the coma, the two of them were preparing a safe house in Scotland to get rid of them, not to mention they insulted the girl without thinking twice. Today when Steve and I faced him, he told us that tomorrow he has a trial prepared to keep custody of the twins and then send them away."
